Shower flooded the bathroom, due to poor design with no lip on the shower and a cute but short shower curtain. The phone didn’t work and was not repaired during our 3 day stay (although the repair was promised). the continental breakfast ran out of sweet rolls after 1 hour and was not replenished. The entrance to the parking garage didn’t work 2 out of 3 times and required hotel staff to come down and let us in. The toilet tissue was 1 ply (so required more to be effective) , I guess as a cost saving step. The hotel architecture was complicated and would have been helped by a map to find our way around.

The hotel looked great in reviews and recommendations. I do not however like to be surprised with mandatory unlisted parking fees, extended fees on hotel rooms etc. I felt very shanghaied, as coming out of an all-day hospital I expect more than feeling scammed by a hotel. For the added price, I probably would have upgraded to a better hotel where all such things are informed about upfront. Very unlikely to ever stay here again.

The room could have been cleaner but otherwise it was a good stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great and easy access into the city centre. There were no safety deposit boxes (in the room or available) so this would be something that could be improved.

The room and hotel was fine. I was hoping for the price a bit more. The toiletries were not replaced when out, nor was coffee and sugar/cream replaced. The room was clean, but the fridge door kept getting stuck on its mat. The lobby bar did not have a bartender so it has hard to get someone to make a drink or order. The staff at the desk was friendly, but there was always a very long line to ask for help like directions or extra toiletries or bar service. I paid through expedia where it stated that the amount I paid online was the total amount and upon check in at this location I was charged an additional $100 and they could not tell me or explain to me what that was for. It was super close to my daughter's school, I would stay there again if the price came down.

The shower wasn’t installed properly. In order to turn the water on we had to call the maintenance person. The bathroom has a barn door and there was no handle from the bathroom side, just 2 pegs/screws sticking out from the door! Why wasn’t the handle installed on the other side of the barn door?
