Parking is alittle crazy (worried car would be side swiped as parking on side of building in tiny alley. Also if anything happens overnight or before 8am you’re screwed!!! Blew a switch had no power from 6:30 til 8am my daughter was trying to get ready for PA interview and girl at desk was very offish.

What a lovely bed and breakfast. The rate I paid was more than I eanted to pay but I booked it for the Sox game that I ended up not even going to. But I enjoyed my stay nonetheless. I wish there was more information on the history of the brownstone, but the staff really didn't know much. Would definitely stay again if the rate was lower. But great location for sure! Loved its charm.

The entrance to the room is thru the bathroom. The shower control is poor from scalding to cool took almost a minute. I was all soaped up and the water went HOT HOT HOT and had to stand to the back while it cooled so I could rinse off and get out of the tub. Not good......

We stayed 9 days and had a horrible experience, recommend stay away! Property: 1. Old building not functional as an inn: no elevator and no help carrying luggage (up to 4 floors). 2. Room 7 has window AC unit attached using tape with holes: you will hear every sound on the busy street all the time, which makes sleep nearly impossible, we bought sleep-aid to rest a few hours per night. 3. Detached bathroom is across the hall (at least 20 steps), extremely inconvenient and no privacy, the room next to the bathroom hears everything. 4. Bathroom was extremely dirty (photo for brown bathmat), very specific way to operate the shower head and little control of water temperature. 5. Entire property smelled moldy and the room walls filled with sticky brown grease spots (photo). Management: 1. Front desk quality varies drastically, staff often forgot to change our bedsheets, we did everything ourselves - highly unprofessional. 2. Rude and dismissive: we expressed concerns regarding hygiene and noise after the first night and asked for room change or cancellation, but management refused to discuss anything and deducted the total payment without our consent. When expedia called to help, they repeatedly hung up the phone and David from management accused us of being "thieves who steal their services". *We are deeply thankful to expedia, certain staff members (Julie, Enoelia) who helped us duct tape the window. Would've moved elsewhere asap if not for inavailability nearby.

This property was very nice to go around Fenway area. The room is large and clean. Only one thing it can improve is the number and locations of electric outlets. There was no accessible outlet around the desk.

This is probably the worst inn we've ever stayed at. First off, the room had a detached bathroom. I wish I knew this before I booked my room. Second, the room itself was tiny and super cold. I stayed with my husband, and we both couldn't close the window because of the air conditioning unit on the window sill. Third, the shower made some strange pumping noises as I showered which really scared me. Fourth, the breakfast area, which was lackluster to begin with, wasn't well stocked each morning. Overall, I would never stay here again. I'd rather book an actual hotel.

Perfect accommodations. Situated in an old brownstone in a quiet and up-end section of town. A mere 15 minute walk to Fenway. The food nearby was extremely varied and delicious. The room was huge with excellent bedding and excellent facilities. Everything you might want in a Boston stay.

Was told I could not cancel my reservation after reading many horrible reviews. There was no way I was spending one hour in a place with this many bad reviews - they charged my credit card anyway. Have a dispute with the credit card company now about the bill. Can't comment about the inside of the place but from the outside I would not recommend staying here.
