Come stay in our spacious, beautiful, family-friendly apartment in West Medford. 10 minutes by train from Boston, off-street parking, well-equipped gourmet chef's kitchen, comfortable beds, and big back yard with patio and grill.

Comfortable and simple furniture, original hard wood floors, beautiful artwork, and ample space await you in this artistically arranged apartment in our two-family home. Will provide the perfect digs for your Boston adventure! Our house is a work in progress (yes, this carpenter owner has worked hard on it but a few things still need to be finished, such as the trim around the windows!).

This first floor dwelling combines the best of a homey setting in an urban environment in the historic neighborhood of West Medford.

-Additional comfortable sofabed with queen-size mattress
-Spacious bathroom w/shower and tub
-Very well-equipped gourmet cook's kitchen w/ stove, full-size fridge, and everything you need to cook and bake at home

-High-speed wireless internet access (please note that we do not have a television)
-Laundry area in apartment with high efficiency washer and dryer

Upstairs neighbors (our parents) are usually available to provide tips, directions, etc.

West Medford is close to Davis Square in Somerville for nightlife and restaurants, Arlington Center, and 15 minutes from Cambridge, Harvard, and the museums. Whole Foods Market 10 minute walk. West Medford Center has a pharmacy, coffee shops, restaurants, banks, and Post Office. 5 minute walk to Mystic River and Mystic Lakes for walking/running, Dugger Park with playground, basketball court, tennis courts. We are a 4 minute walk from the West Medford train station (one stop and 10 minutes to Downtown Boston's North Station). Many bus lines in walking distance to go to Cambridge, Somerville, Arlington, and other parts of Boston.

The space was incredibly warm and well supplied. It's a quick walk into West Medford where you can grab a bite, catch the train or get some provisions. There is plenty of space to spread out and the hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive.

Eclectic family home with easy in and out location. Piano and radio though no television or microwave making it slightly inconvenient for a take out dinner night at home. Great space and homey.

Good homey spot for a Cambridge / Boston adventure.

Our family of adults stayed here for a local college graduation (go Jumbos!) and it’s a good comfy, “really-a-home-during-the week” type home. Quirky, warm and lived in, you can tell by the unfissy but well stocked kitchen & dining supplies. But as described, literally a work-in-progress home, with beautiful rooms and kitchen, every spot about 90 finished. Good for families with older kids, this not a great spot for toddlers given the unfinished nature. Also only a single bathroom so not a great situation if your group does not get along, or one of you takes loooong showers. Also, while not far from transit, not super close so prepare to walk, or drive to the nearby T stations. But also nearby are some great looking bakeries and restaurants! And a beautiful walking path along the Mystic.

Family reunion

The home was so nice! We had off street parking and everything we needed to be able to make family meals and such. The location and neighborhood were ideal! The host’s mother talked to us as we went in and out a couple of times and was a delight! We all agreed that it was perfect!
