The overall layout is great - especially the free-standing casitas with private pools. Also, the star gazing area, which is kept darker than the rest of the property, is a really nice touch. Love the location. Resort is a bit tired looking inside and the pool area could use an upgrade.

We booked the room due to the rate...we had no idea it was a 2 hr drive to San Diego. The room was ok, temperature wise, but we were given a fan to circulate the air. The room was large and comfy. The owners went out of their way to make us enjoy our stay.
