The clothing optional pool was interesting. The hotel doesn't market itself as a swingers destination (as far as I know), but I got the sense there may have been some of that going on. It wasn't in your face, though, and we felt comfortable there as a gay couple. Even though the weather was very hot and most of the town was closed down for August, we had a perfectly pleasant time.

Facility had real dishes, linen napkins, and lots of toiletries. All of which was a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this motel.
Great time had by all. Nice simple breakfast spread as well. Easy access to all the local spots and hiking trails.
No manager on site. Staff at breakfast were not very nice. Breakfast was the same every day. For the price the place is average. Run down and bed was not comfortable. The pool and grounds are beautiful.
We loved that it was basically self check-in, clean and comfy. Also wanted a place where kids and dogs and smoking were forbidden so we could have a Very Quiet place to relax and look at the stars. Love it here!!
Had a great time lazing in the pool and Jacuzzi. Wish we had more time to stay longer. Only thing I didn't like was that the lounge chairs are in the gravel and it's awkward with wet feet. Also, not enough lighting in the parking area to the back entrance. It would be nice to have larger tv's.
Loved it. Very nice library, sitting room & beverages throughout the day. Enjoyed the pool & hot tub very much. Liked the quietness & privacy.
Haven't been here in quite awhile, but the southwest decor still looks in great condition and vary attractive. Nicely appointed rooms. Breakfast seemed even better than before with lots of different items - cute mason jars of fruit, delicious smoked salmon, interesting sausage... Jacuzzi was extremely hot - at least 106°. I love a hot Jacuzzi of 104° but this was even way too hot for me. Other guests also felt it was too hot. We did not alert the property managers though. The other thing was that we were there during moonless nights and the outdoor lighting was insufficient and made walking from the parking lot to ones room feel a bit perilous. We enjoyed our stay and would return.
