This hotel is getting a little tired, but it is very handy for the airport. It represents good value for money with an adequate continental breakfast included, free parking and a small pool. There were a lot of families staying when we were there for one night before flying from airport.
Very friendly, helpful staff. Hotel feels worn and in need of a refurbishment. Evening meal was tasty and well priced. The wine was very expensive and not good value. Airco worked but was not efficient. Great free parking facilities. Easy access from the ring road. Great value for three people in the one room.
Although the hotel is a bit worn off, the management has made efforts to make your “commute” through the hotel hallways (that are long af) as easy as possible with rollers. Dinner was good, breakfast ok. For people who have a lot of luggage the hotel should allaborate a solution... Overall great stay
Perfect! Staff extremely helpful! Food surprisingly good for 1030pm. Veloute hit the right spot! As did croque Monsieur! Two little dogs welcomed! Only negative,,, horrible pillows and duvet. Heavy and cheap
I stayed 2 nights in this hotel. 160 Euros per night, 1 dinner included. Close to airport. 10mn drive. Hotel shuttle available. Check-in went smoothly but check-out was a bit long (20 minutes and guests were queuing at 8am...). Room was simple but well equipped: good bed and pillows, TV, Wifi, large safe (fitted for a laptop). Bathroom a bit small but enough for a short stay. AC was not easy to manage but operating well. Clean. Quiet. Non smoking room and no cigarette smell. Restaurant: good quality. Hamburger was very good. Breakfast is a buffet with a large choice. Overall good quality. No gym. I would recommend the hotel is you have business in the area.
pure business hotel, very close to Bordeaux airport. they have a shuttle from/to the airport. Rooms are a little outdated and could use some renovation but were clean. Service is good and pretty flexible.
We stayed as an unexpected extra day in Bordeaux due to the French Air Traffic Controllers having a day off (strike). We booked fairly late and the hotel recognised my status with Accor by according me a late check out. As I had already had to book a superior room no room upgrade was available. and we were given an upgrade to a superior room. The superior room was quite spacious and gave us plenty of space to get bags open to repack our stuff. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and unusually for France the pillow was sensible. Breakfast was as expected with a selection of cereal, breads, yogurt, meat and cheese, pastries, fruit, conserves, fruit juice. The staff in the resturant were fairly disinterested and didn't even ask for our room number. The lifts are a little small and a bit bouncy and some of the decor around the place is a little dated although it's all well maintained. We had a hire car when we arrived and there was ample space in the car park. We were able to use the hotel shuttle bus to get to from the airport without any issues. Of specific note, the Wifi at the hotel and the Internet connection were particularly good, I was able to get both download and upload speeds of in excess of 50M. Overall a trouble free stay.
I stayed at Novotel Merignac durong a quick visit at a local business fair, I chose Novotel which is often my fabourite hotels chain when on business trip in France, the room was cleaned although there was not fridge with water in room, I had no dinner just a predinner drink which was offered to me for free as an Accor hotels card holder, the hotel stands just 2 km from the Merignac Airport and 15 km from the Nordeaux Lac Fairgrounds, all in all a good plce to stay at when visiting fairs in Bordeaux or need to stay close the airport.
Faced with heavy fog forecasts, we decided to spend the night near the airport rather than risk an early morning drive. This was the best hotel available, but the room was basic and small, with dangerously close to the wall placement of the bed. The bed was very comfortable, but the room was otherwise too small, had only one chair and had a very limited bathroom. But, at least we had an adequate breakfast and were able to get to the airport comfortably in the early morning twilight.
I stayed at the hotel overnight for a business trip. Generally the hotel was good with helpful staff and the breakfast for good with plenty of variety. The room had a double bed which was comfortable although the shower pressure could be improved. There was a good selection of tv channels and there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. No issue here for a one stay for a connecting flight back to the UK and would definitely stay here again.
