As I recall, I had requested ground floor room because of mobility issues. We arrived about 6:30 p.m. and were assigned the only room remaining...2nd floor up a flight of wooden stairs. The hand rail extended less than 1/2 way up the stairs making the top portion difficult to navigate transporting our luggage. Going down the stairs was also modestly frightening until the handrail portion was reached. The queen bed room was spacious and appropriately furnish as a "log cabin" decor. The room as noisy as the single-pane casement window partially faced US 95 at the southern edge of the town.

Bed was so uncomfortable my wife attempted to sleep in the oversized chair. The room was clean with the exception of the mold growing on the bathroom ceiling.

The owners were very nice. The restaurant was not open, due to new owners and permitting, but enjoyed the home baked goods that were supplied. Cabin was not as remote as I had expected, but very nice. I would have liked a small table and a couple of chairs in the room, so as not to always have to be on the bed. Dog friendly, and loved their Rita.

First, the couple running the hotel were extremely nice. We were just disappointed the rooms did not match the pictures shown on-line. The room itself had 1 small window so it was really dark. There was no Rustic or log type furniture at all. Just a bed with no frame, 2 night stands, a chair and stool and a small tv. The microwave and little refrigerator were stacked on each other and the fridge was in desperate need of defrosting and it was plugged into a power strip! There is no heat in the room so they gave us a small space heater. Besides the stained carpets and sheets, the bathroom needed some TLC. For the price, you get what you pay for. Like I said, I was expecting rustic log furniture and got old stained furniture.

Confused this motel with another one I had stayed at many years ago. Was ok, slept well. Bring your own pillow as this was the biggest upgrade needed. Breakfast wasn't available, but not sure it was included in the price of the hotel.
