I booked this hotel over the casino hotel solely based on all reviews stating how quiet it was. It is not quiet. At all. It's next to a very busy highway and the rooms have no noise insulation. Be prepared for nonstop honking, road noise, and listening to your neighbors coughing and talking on the phone. If that doesn't bother you, the rooms are very large and nice and the poppyseed bread at breakfast is great. All the women staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there is one middle aged guy who was really passive aggressive and gave me a terrible restaurant recommendation. I'm assuming the restaurant is owned by a friend or relative, because it was truly awful. Don't take any advice from this guy. You'll know him when you meet him. Trust me.
Really enjoyed the cabin. Very nice and modern furnishings.

I had a very enjoyable stay. I liked that there wasn’t any generic artwork that most places feel they need to have in order to fill the space. The wooden lodge look was more than enough and very pleasing. There was a beautiful path to walk my dog and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if I ever pass through.
Amazing room. LOVED the rustic look. Pleasant staff. We had two massive cooler/freezers in our truck that could not be moved, they let us hook up without moving them. Excellent choice for a olace to stay.
The private cabins were awesome! Everyone was friendly and the amenities were great!
It was nice staying in the cabins. Lots of room, gas grill, with gliders on porch. Were able to use the fire pit one night for smores. Very enjoyable
were able to use gas grill and a fire pit. the mattress was wonderful
This place has a homey feel to it with great staff
Quiet. Clean. Easy to get to. Price was right. Would stay again.
Only improvement is to provide 1/2 & 1/2 cream for coffee. They apparently ran out.
Neat and clean cabins.Really enjoyed the walking trails around the premises!
I grew up in Bonners Ferry and moved away many years ago. I obviously never had the occasion to stay in a hotel while I lived there, but always heard nice things about the Log Inn. (I used to work at the large hotel/casino in town and there's no way I'd ever stay there- once you see behind the scenes there's things you can't unsee, but I digress). My wife and I chose the Log Inn for our holiday and we couldn't be more impressed. The room was impeccably clean. The floors of the room are all stone tile, so no mystery carpet smells here. The room was appointed well with everything you might need (fridge, hair dryer, clothes iron and full size ironing board). The shower was a real nice surprise- full glass wall with an easy to use shower head, very upscale. The log furniture within the room was a real nice touch and had excellent craftsmanship. They offered a comprehensive continental breakfast, but as we were visiting family we were having meals with them, but I did appreciate being able to grab an apple, orange or banana quickly. I have stayed in hotels in major cities that cost two to three times as much that weren't as nice. I would highly recommend staying here if you visit the area. No disappointments and only pleasant surprises!
Cute, updated rooms are so cozy with all of the modern amenities you’ll need. Friendly, accommodating owners. We’ll definitely be back.
The hotel was well worth the price! Room was very clean and staff was very nice.

Jack, So glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We hope to see you again soon.
Kendra, let me first apologize for coming off as passive aggressive. I don't recall our specific interaction, but if I left you with that impression I'm genuinely sorry. Our business is also our home and occasionally I allow some of those distractions to prevent me from providing the best service possible. I'll be sure to do better in the future. I recommend 3-4 different restaurants depending on what our guests are looking for. I would love to know which restaurant I recommended that you had an awful experience at. I always make adjustments to our recommendations whenever we get negative feedback from a guest. Consistency is a big issue for all of our small town restaurants so in addition to making changes to what we recommend to guests, I would also like to share the feedback directly with whatever restaurant owners establishment you visited. We do know all of the restaurant owners in town personally and they do ask us to share that feedback with them. I apologize again for making your stay unpleasant. We do have quite a few trees which prevent most of the sound from the highway. We truly appreciate when a guest contacts us (especially if it is late in the night) with any noise complaints so that we can make sure you are as comfortable as possible and get the rest that you are looking for. We hope that you will give us another chance if you are in the Bonners Ferry area. Thank you, Eric
