"The property was very clean and nice in appearance the hotel front desk staff very nice efficient and helpful the hotel is right at the BLUE RIDGE SENIC RAIL ROAD literally a stroll down the side walk how ever the restaurant staff located on the 5th floor terrible service we were a party of 5 we enterd but were not greeted not even acknowledged we wonderd thru the small area looking for a table there were dirty tables but no one acknowledged us or offerd to clean the tables..wewent to the bar where all the staff clustered on the opposite end avoiding eye contact and all contact after 10 plus min a man did offer a menu but we decided to leave we werent welcome we weren't wanted there so we left and took our black dollars with us ( the restaurant staff was our only negative experience) i definitely suggest this hotel but not the resturant if your a person of color"

"The pictures do not do this house justice! It was a gorgeous home with plenty of things that made it feel like we weren’t staying at a hotel. I traveled with family and there was enough space for all 8 of us to spread out and do our own thing. The house was clean, check in was a breeze and the host was easy to contact. Additionally, we were offered late check out and didn’t feel like we were being watched the whole time. Shops and other activities were less than 20 minutes away and the views around the area was beautiful. Would stay again. "
