Parking lot was like a slum weed infested run dien lot.The sink was cracked. Mirror over sink flickered and gave NO light to see. Bathroom door delaminated. Tub not drain. Sink faucet very hard to turn on, leaked, and had to exert force to turn off. Lamp shade torn.Orange juice at continental breakfast so diluted that it was like drinking orange colored watee water
Basic accommodation. Not a ton of choices in town. Wonderful to find a pet friendly hotel, but wish there was a designated restroom area for dogs. Breakfast kind of lacking. Staff friendly and very responsive. Grab a milkshake and burger at The Patio restaurant. The Blanding welcome center is great and there is a Tesla supercharger there with a park to picnic, stretch your legs, playground for kids, and we even played frisbee with our pup at sunset.
This property is one of several hotel/motels in Blanding, Utah which is about 80 miles from Arches National park. While the park itself is overflowing with people, this place is still...80 miles from the park in a very small town with virtually no amenities. There is one restaurant and a couple small sandwich shops and that is it. In addition, it is a completely dry town. Impossible to get a bear or drink anywhere, due I assume to Mormon influence. The hotel itself is very generic. There is really nothing out of the ordinary to make this place stand out. In a real world, this hotel would command a nightly rate of certainly no more than $45-55. For the right to stay here, they really have a lot of nerve charging over $100 for the night. It just is not worth it in my opinion.
Best CoViD Breakfast we had on our 10 day trip. They used precautions yet provided enough food and choices for the average adult traveler. Staff was exceptional in helping me with luggage as my husband is disabled.
The room was is need of help. The inside bathroom door the wood was peeling off the door. The bath sink was in ruff shape, cracks no sink stopper. Room seemed clean Since I am allergic to pets I was able to get a pet free room.

This was a nice hotel that met our needs for where we were traveling. Blanding itself doesn't offer much and our stay was somewhat marred by eating at the restaurant next door - although that is not the hotel's fault. We were looking forward to using pool and hot tub but it was closed - disappointing.
They gave a standard room instead of the king suite that we booked. Because there was no vacancy that night, they were not able to relocate us and give us the correct type of room. Still trying to contact the manager to see if we can get any refund. They keep telling that the manager is not available. Other than that the room was ok. A little bit older, but clean. There was no remote for tv they brought right after we called the check in. The breakfast is ok: boiled eggs, cereals, bagels, toasts, waffles, yogurts, fruits, tea/coffee.
It was a nice normal motel we were able to check in early and had no problems
