Staff were great! Exceptional service! Pool was right infront of the dining restaurant / checkin counter so a little strange placement there due to lack of privacy. Its a secluded resort so theres no shopping options but if youre opting to come here for a getaway, its worth it! Buggy service is available to take you between Angsana & Banyan Tree as well - theyre all under the same Banyan Group umbrella so its shared facilities! Theres pingpong, board games, a whole slew of daily activities i.e zumba / pool party, etc Managed to try breakfast @ Vista (a lot of options to choose), dinner at Treetops Restaurant (costed us about 1.1 mil rupiah for 2 pax) & Int Bbq Dinner @ Xana Beach Club (680,000/nett per pax excl. drinks) All in all, it was pretty worth it for a quick getaway! We reached around 6pm & spent about SGD$550 for 2 pax / 2D2N (excl. ferry tickets) - not too bad i suppose.

Relaxing family holidays

Our room is on the second floor with the balcony facing the car park. There are multiple blocks with multiple stories, so do not expect ground floor balcony like those shown on photos. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is price like in Singapore with additional 21% taxes. Took grab to Lagoi Bay which cost >300K rupiah. Hotel provides shuttle to the same place but with limited timing. A good place for families to have a relaxing time by the beach nonetheless. Tips: make use of the free activities provided by the hotel such as tree trail and bird watching walk in the morning. Note: Their forest hike requires covered shoes.

Most wonderful resort experiences in Bintan!

Bintan Cassia has never failed my stays ever since from 2019 I visited the resort in total of 8 times. Their customer services are excellent, staffs are very friendly everywhere within the compound. The place is always so well upkeep, a feeling that I have visited a brand new resort always. I never grow tired of visiting Cassia Bintan and will always be my prior choice!

Very family friendly, although rhe facilities themselves are basic. iIt was nice to be able to share facilities with the neighboring resorts. In particular I took advantage of the spa at Angsana and Treetops restaurant at Banyan Tree which was excellent. Staff English level at Cassia was not the best, a few times we had trouble communicating.

Pro's: (1) Secluded and clean beach, (2) updated interior, (3) excellent staff who were always friendly and helpful Cons: (1) Advised by hotel not to swim in the sea because of jellyfish (year-round) (2) Small swimming pool for hotel size (3) far away from shops and local restaurants I recommend that the hotel install a jellyfish net across the bay. Guests wouldn't travel all that way to use a pool.

Cassia is a nice and value for money resort if you plan it right. It provides everything you need, but for a price. Luckily, the rooms come with kitchenettes. Thus, if you come from Singapore, you can bring food with you to cook basic meals - particularly helpful with children. The hotel has a "minimart" as well. There are no shops around the resort. The beach is excellent and the pool is nice, albeit small. You can use the facilities of Angsana and Banyan Tree as well. But there is no need as they are older. Food quality is OK but the prices are above Singapore chain restaurant prices (around 20 SGD per meal). Suggest to only consider during 50% off happy hour). Breakfast is nice and - surprisingly - better quality food than a la carte orders. Although they say that breakfast in Cassia and Angsana is the same - Angsana had more variety and was better prepared when we were there. As a guest, you can choose to have breakfast in either of them. The Kids Club is excellent. The kindergarten teachers actively engage with the kids and do handcrafting with them. Our kids loved it. It's probably the biggest reason for us to come back.

The property had a lively feel, yet I also felt like I could find a quiet spot to relax whenever I wanted one, whether on the beach, near the pool, or in the other public areas. Beriana at the front desk was amazing! She helped me arrange a car service to the boat terminal for a speedboat to Batam Island for the following day. She recognized and greeted me warmly when I went to check out and meet the driver, and that meant a lot to me. The external car service (driver Khalid) was wonderful. Special thanks to Benny at the pool as well! I live thousands of miles away but really hope to return to Bintan someday. The staff and others I met were a huge part of that!
