Not very central, nothing special just a plain and functional place to stay overnight. Rooms face either the street or a back terrace both quite noisy. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Won't choose this hotel next time.
We stayed one night here, before catching the ferry home. It's a lovely hotel, very professional staff, who speak English too, which is helpful. The room was on the top floor, at the back of the hotel, so was very peaceful, with its own balcony too. Comfortable bed, big clean bathroom, which had disabled access too, lifts to all floors, including the secure car park below the hotel... At extra cost though. The breakfast selection was very good too. It's very convenient for exploring the city, and within walking distance of the main centre... There's a tram which is literally right out the front of the hotel, which can take you to the 'old town' at reasonable cost. So all in all a modern clean well positioned hotel for exploring Bilbao, and to be safe allow an hour to get to ferry terminal... There are an awful of traffic lights... But well worth a visit.
We found the hotel very clean and business like, rather sterile and cold. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were nice and the shower worked perfectly so all good. The breakfast was good and the choice of hot and cold food was great. The food in the evening was pretty bland and the portions were tiny, this may be because we were on a tour with Titan which I wouldn't reccoment, we certainly wouldn't go with them again.
We stayed here for 2 nights and the room was nice, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast cost was a bit more than we expected so next time would probably go somewhere close by. The hotel is in a really good location and the staff at the front desk were very helpful and the hotel is right outside the tram stop so an easy ride to the Guggenheim and Old Town. Lots of good places to eat just around the corner.
The best reason to stay at the Zenit is its 10-minute 1.50 euro tram ride to the Guggenheim. The hotel is sleek and our room had a lovely balcony, but the bed was very small and unbecoming a 4-star hotel—as was the lack of an in-room coffee maker. One pays for parking a car in the hotel garage. The advertised free wifi did not work at all in our room. Breakfast is satisfactory, but the staff did not replenish the buffet and so, for us, many of the options were empty baskets. The oddest event was that when we returned to the room in the afternoon, we noticed the maid had left her "card key" in the device that lights the lights. We napped and noticed, upon waking, that the card was gone; the maid must have opened the door and removed the card key as we slept. Rather unsettling somehow.
Zenit is a very good and a rather cheap choice of hotel in the city of Bilbao.is clean and near to top attractions_10-15 min.by foot from guggenheim, 20 to historic center. Autobus and metro station very close. WiFi very good. Nearby there where shops and restaurants. And the people in reception-jose,sonia,vanessa- were extremely nice, polite and helpful. They were a big plus to the hotel.
Nice easy going hotel, with private car park (though you have to pay extra for this) and the tram stop is right outside the main entrance. It is a an easy 20 minute walk to the Guggenheim and the town centre too. There are good cafes open in the morning not too far away for breakfast if you do not want to pay for hotel breakfasts.
This hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport but it is convenient in that there is a tram that stops right in front of the hotel that takes you around the city and the tram is only 5 euros for a day pass. The hotel itself is kind of basic. Small lobby but with a friendly staff that speaks English. The room is an adequate size for a couple but they had 2 twin beds pushed together for my husband and I. The internet is a bit of a problem. It cut out all the time and was quite slow in our room but worked fine down in the lobby. The air conditioning can be lacking. It just never got cold enough to be comfortable but luckily, the room did have a balcony door that opened and a lovely breeze came in during the evenings. Breakfast is basic - charcuterie, eggs, bacon, cereal and juice and coffee. There's a staff member that pops in from time to time to refill empty items but everything is completely self-serve.
Side to semipedestrian zone and just by terminus station of tram. Very strategic position to visit town. Try to get some room not with real windows. Not numbers XX5 or XX6. They have windows to the atrium where is nothing just humid air and views from the other corridors. Unless you are exhibitionist keep the window closed and use courtains. Aircondition is solution.
Is the best hotel in Bilbao for that price. It is clean and the staff is friendly. The breakfast is not bad. The location is very good. The room was good with enough space to put luggage but still having space.
