We chose this hotel because it was easy to reach from the airport (great city bus drops you off just a few minutes walk away) and a quick walk over the bridge from the Old Town with its wonderful cafes, pintxchos, beautiful streets in one direction - the Guggenheim Museum a pleasant walk along the river the other way. A metro is close by. BIlbao is a lovely city, and this hotel is in a nice area. But the hotel reallyimpressed us with the quality of their bedding, design of their rooms, good bathrooms, excellent staff and the really pleasant lounge area where you can make yourself a cup of coffee or tea while you plan the day. WiFi was excellent in rooms & common areas. All in all a great choice in Bilbao.

Stayed five nights April 21th to 27th 2017. Location is perfect. Close to everything. Airport bus stops nearby, too. Rooms spacey, new and nice. Breakfast was good, great selection of food and drinks to choose from, which were replenished regularly. I would recommend this hotel.

A modern hotel, very good location for being a tourist in Bilbao, close to both Old Town and attractions on the modern side. A rather simple hotel, but nice rooms. Breakfast was not very nice, but nice to be able sit on the roof terrace. Very friendly receptionist. However what we will remember from this hotel is the experience in the hotel bar - the ultimate example of a person put in the wrong position. We should have a drink in the bar before going out to dinner. Two in the party ordered white wine, and after a while the waitress told us that she was out of white wine, and all bottles were downstairs. Seems like a solvable problem, so we kindly asked if she could get one. But no, totally impossible, she was too busy and also responsible for room service, so she could not go downstairs and get a bottle (which would probably have taken two minutes) - and we were the only guests in the bar, so she was not very busy. We did not believe our own ears.. So one of us goes out in the reception and explains the problem to the receptionist, who said he should fix it. Five minutes later, the very busy waitress come with two glasses of white wine, mumbling that the receptionist came with it, not a word of excuse or any other friendly word. To have such people in a service business is just unbelievable - and enough for us to never return to this hotel.

Modern hotel with an old opera house facade. (Casino next door - which we did not visit). Reception on the 2nd floor. Space to pull , check in. Parking entrance around the block, even with a map it was easy to miss the little pedestrian kind street to the garage. Access with elevator to the hotel from the garage. Friendly, courteous and service minded reception. The hotel was very conveniently located with walking distance to the old town, shopping, dining and the Guggenheim museum. We opted for the up sell of to a superior room for EUR 10/night, the room itself and bathroom were very spacious and well laid out, with a view to the patio/terrace where you could enjoy a drink or your breakfast. There was a minibar and an electric water kettle in the room plus tea & instant coffee. Construction was going on in a building close by. You could hear the faint drilling noise from around 9 am till maybe 5pm. This was May 25 & 26, 2017.

A very modern, bright clean hotel and in a good location in the city. it is so close to everything so you can walk to the city centre, cafe and restaurants (for the pintxo) and the museums ie the famous Guggenheim

Friendly helpful staff in a modern, clean hotel within walking distance of everything I wanted to see; the Guggenheim, old town and with some top quality pintxos bar nearby, the local guide included in the welcome guide was spot on in its recommendations

It's centrally located and very accessible to the sights and shopping. Clean, simple rooms with a fridge, helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it for a city break and it's just around the corner from a big El Cortes Ingles!!

Some people would say stark but we thought our room pristine. Decent size, good bathroom, all clean as a whistle. Perfect location for all sights. All in all very good for our 2 night visit to Bilbao. Didn't have breakfast so cannot comment but reception staff friendly and very helpful.

Excellent hotel in the centre of city. Great room, great bathroom (bath and shower). Very quiet room. Huge amount of space although a bit short of drawers. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast with wide choice of hot and cold food and the best toaster I have ever seen. Nothing too much trouble for the staff - very helpful and friendly. Bar was a disappointment as no sign of drinks and no draft ales.

Gréât location. Modern and spotless. Quiet rooms on a pedestrian walk, on request. Nice staff for checking in and off. Beautiful bathrooms. Breakfast has improved and is now up to the rest of the offers.
