Excellent location, smartspacious modern bedrooms, comfortable bed, helpful staff, nice breakfast( not as good as other places we stayed but very adequate) bit annoying to park in public car park with trek back to hotel. Great location for Guggenheim & modern shopping but bit of a walk to old town , but luckily were loaned couple of umbrellas. Hubby would have liked a bath rather than just shower. Bar a bit confusing, was told was complimentary but then had sheet to sign up as to what you had so could be charged, some literature said honesty bar, some complimentary, meaning may have been lost in translation.
We spent one night here post an extended European cruise and could not have been happier! The manager checked us in personally and guided us to attractions around the area - there are a number of activities within walking distance. The rooms were clean and the art around the lobby and public areas is work perusing.
We stayed at the Miro for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is located in the fringes of Bilbao but very close to the Gugenheim and on the banks of the river and with easy access to the more populated areas of Bilbao restaurants bars etc and very close to the main park underground etc. The staff are very friendly and efficient and the rooms are very comfortable and very functional with walk in showers.
We stay at Miro Hotel a few night just now.Beautifull location, with the Guggenheim shining through our window. The room of modern desing are very confortable and the whole hotel reflect a very plaisant architectural concept.A large library will please art Lovers and the classy lather coaches of the lobby are the ideal place to read and rest. Breakfast is served at your table.Excellent bread, delicious marmalade, good coffee and a large variety of herbal tea start your day from 7.00 to 11.00.We will have appreciate to have eggs and cheese available on demand at no supplement cost.Service was perfect and the employés all very plaisant and efficient. We had a very nice stay and will remember Miro Hotel as a must.
Excellent location, nice people at the reception, friendly cleaning ladies. Rooms are trendy and cute with enough space. High level of cleanliness. With an extra you can get a view on the Guggenheim museum. Price is a bit at higher end but for a centralized place worth it. Picture was taken from the room.
The room was small but comfortable. The included breakfast was ridiculous - bread and a choice of fruit (sliced orange with ONE blueberry and ONE raspberry!) or yogurt. You have to pay extra if you want both fruit and yogurt, and you have to pay extra for a nice cooked meal.
The rooms are not big but very functional and clean and you get all what you need at a great location just opposite the Guggenheim museum .. if you decide to go to other parts of the city you can easily reach a lot by walk ... taxis are easily available and good. Good breakfast and small but Cosy lobby
What a great hotel! Just opposite to the Guggenheim museum and right in the new part of the city center. Service is top, very friendly, the room was just great modern good beds and everything worked well. Around the corner you'll find one of the best pintox bars. Only €1 per pintox, beautiful wines and very friendly staff, las Cepas was great.
Overall this is in a fabulous location only 2 minutes from the Guggenheim and has easy access tram into the old town and you can la so walk there.. But do I start with the good or not so great? OK on the good side The staff were very friendly and accommodating and always helpful in, giving directions and helping with luggage. The freely available refreshment bar was a bonus And then the not so great... Unlike some of the reviewers we didn't get a view of the Guggenheim and instead got a large frosted glass window a the side of the room which was really heavy to open. When after some effort we did get it open it revealed some close up of a boring building and a simple bar across the window which seemed a little dangerous as we were 6 floors up! Whilst not all of us can have a front facing window at least give those at the back a better shaped easier to use window and clear glass even if faces a rubbish view. The 'breakfast in a bag' was OK but after 5 mornings of the same offering it can get a bit dull. Why not vary the juice or the bread types?
We stayed for two night to visit the Guggenheim museum. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the museum. The room was spotlessly clean and the staff very obliging. A great little lounge area with free coffee and juice on the ground floor is an added bonus.
