Big Bear Lake Stay
The house was great. Just a few things: the biggest negative was the fact that the back yard was severely unmaintained. The primary photo on VRBO is of the house’s backyard with a beautiful green lawn and a perfectly groomed volleyball court. This was definitely not the case. Either remove the picture or maintain the yard. Also, dishwasher was not working but they did not provide and dish soap and only ONE dish towel. Doing the dishes by hand was an issue with no supplies. Other than that, the house was nice, roomy, comfortable and the location was excellent.

July 4th Family vacation
First let me say that we had a wonderful annual family get away at this beautiful lakefront cabin. That said, we need to say that there were some issues which gave us some concerns. First is that the beautiful images in the VRBO listing are very misleading as the exterior property with grass is sadly no longer there. The rear grounds have been decimated by ground squirrels and overgrown bushes and weeds. Also, the private dock was in disrepair and the walkway to it was partially underwater when we arrived. The property management company did send people out two days later to raise the walkway and weed eat the path down to it. Overall we found this wonderful property needed some TLC. There were cobwebs everywhere on the spacious decks and outside stairs. Inside we found the refrigerator to have an ice maker but it did not work or wasn’t hooked up. The dishwasher worked but didn’t actually clean the dishes so we needed to hand wash for most of our stay. There was no AC, even though the arrival email from the management company indicated that there was. Although there were other minor issues like the lack of more than one bath towel for each of our twelve family members, we enjoyed all the amenities this property offered. We will address some other concerns with the property management company in hopes that they deal with them before other renters visit this beautiful but pricey VRBO listing.

NO DOCK
We rented this house specifically because it said it had a Dock. After reserving the home, we were sent a long email about the property in which i didn't read immediately, that says the dock is "OFF LIMITS".
2) The table outside the kitchen is disgusting and should be thrown away. It is unusable.
3) The shower head in the upstairs bathroom has so much force, it feels like needles are poking into you.
4) The View is great.
5) The yard is a mess, mostly dirt and gopher holes with many pinecones all over the place.
6) The refrigerator needs to be replaced. it should have 1" gap all the way around it so it has proper ventilation. It does not work very well, and shelves are missing. it's a shame for such a potentially nice home.
7) The driveway is pretty small considering the size of the home and not easy to get out of with overgrown trees that will hit your SUV if you drive one.
8) I think the most frustrating thing was the dock. It needs to be repaired or it should not say it has a dock at all...

Fell Short
The home is not as spacious as shown, but outdoor area lovely. We were 12 adults, who stayed 4 days. We shared 8 towels, and took ice cold showers. There were 6 rolls of toilet paper. For the money we paid it was quite disturbing. Beds are very small for two adults. Several of my family slept on couches.

"Shore to Please" did not disappoint! Wonderful place!
Our family group of nine had a really wonderful time here. Kitchen had everything you would need plus some. The adult kids enjoyed playing in the volleyball court with the badmintons we brought! Our senior pups loved going in and out on their own with the fenced yard. The whole family enjoyed playing pool. Of course we put the jacuzzi to good use and the location on the lake could not be beat. We enjoyed just looking at the water all day! We will be back!

Family vacation
Great property - good location, water access, loved the large home and outdoor space - sand volleyball court was great, both for kids to play in sand and for the rest of us to play VB. We used hot tub and fire pit a lot too. Good family place to stay (kids need to be safe on stairs).
