Excellent Lake House

This cabin was top notch. The house was super clean plenty of room for multiple families.Great location! Has all the amenities and the kitchen is Great! We will definitely be booking this cabin again.

Fabulous stay at Big Bear Lake

Had a wonderful multigenerational stay at this location. Lots of rooms and spaces so each family group from toddlers to grandparents had their own comfortable space. We were never able to get the microwave to work despite having two engineers and a physicist in our group. It may be broken. Dishwasher also leaked. Other than that, it was a beautiful home.

Beautiful house

The house was very comfortable for all 15 of our family ages 1 to 69. We had a few power outages but didn’t interfere with our stay. Finally got snow the night before we left which made all the kids happy. Karen was wonderful to deal with and would love to rent again from her.

Everything we needed !

The house was great for 3 generations of family. All ages from 6 to 70s there was something for everyone to do. We were able to keep the young ones busy, and the older grandchildren entertained too!! Our host was amazing and anything we needed she responded quickly !! Wish there would have been snow, but maybe next time

Perfect Big Bear Getaway - Close to the Lake!

We had such a great time at this place! The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the lake, which made it super easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The host was incredibly quick to respond to a small issue with the fireplace and got it resolved right away. It made us feel really taken care of, which was much appreciated.Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we’d definitely come back. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful Big Bear getaway!

Amazing home

We went to Big Bear to spend a brief weekend for the holidays with our family. It’s a big group so we have a hard time fitting in each other’s homes and accommodate everyone. After a lil research we found this home that worked for us! This home had enough space, beds, bathrooms, and even a game room for everyone. There were even a pair of e-bikes we used to go off and explore! Check-in was easy and Karen was very friendly and communicative. We would definitely love to come back to this home in the future!

Perfect cabin for extended family Thanksgiving!!

The Lake Lodge in Big Bear is a beautiful solution for large family getaways! Our gang of 16 found all the room & amenities needed for a week of fun, food, games, movies& biking. Our hostess, Karen, was a delight to work with & she had gone the extra mile to provide so many extra touches like a stocked candy jar, large selection of Keurig pods, a wine fridge with a gift bottle, electric bikes, fire pit, a game room that was a blast with project tables for our crafting kids & music that was programmed to come on when we arrived! So grateful for the 2 big refrigerators & big stove, griddle top, & double ovens! We had a hilarious time cooking together all week & then being able to have all 16 of us sit down together for meals was so sweet! Highly recommend this beautiful, cozy, clean cabin to any family looking for a place big enough to spread out & cozy enough to make lasting memories. Thank you Karen for your warm hospitality!

What a cool house!

Everything about the house was amazing. I don’t know if I’ve ever stayed somewhere as well equipped to accommodate large groups! The only thing that didn’t work out for us was that I thought the lake access would be a little more swimming friendly, but it was not. It was pretty weedy and only really good for launching kayaks. Would definitely stay here again though!

Great Place for a Family Reunion!

Three generations of our family enjoyed our experience at this beautiful home. Large kitchen that suited us perfectly. Bedrooms were all great. Nice neighborhood and very close to the water. We had great lake views from the deck as well as one of the bedrooms. The game room worked out very well. The e-bikes were a real plus. All positives!

Perfect family vacation location

This home surpassed our expectations, even before we checked in Karen proved to be a great host. Location, location, location, lake was just steps away and the marina less than a mile away. Our group had from toddlers, to teenagers, to adults and this home provided an amazing environment for all!! This will definitely be our family summer gathering location. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted w/warmth and hospitality.

The size of the house was perfect for our group, comfortably accommodating four families. As were the thoughtful touches like the coffee and candy awaiting us. Despite my initial confusion about the entrance, the prompt assistance over the phone made our arrival smooth & hassle-free. While we encountered a few minor maintenance issues such as grease dripping from the stove when on and a leaky cracked sink, they did not detract significantly from our overall enjoyment of the house. The abundance of fridge space was a lifesaver, the garage one doesn't cool so well. Regrettably, we did find a nicotine box underneath one of the beds, which was concerning, especially with young children around, but it did mar an otherwise impeccable experience. Despite these minor hiccups, our stay was overwhelmingly positive. The location, surrounded by snow and with a picturesque view from the living room, provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable weekend with friends and family. We left with cherished memories and a unanimous decision to make this an annual tradition. Thank you for opening your home to us and for your hospitality throughout our stay. We look forward to returning next year and creating more wonderful memories.

Lake Lodge was terrific.

Lake Lodge was everything we hoped for. Immaculately clean, super beds, huge TVs, game room, on and on. There was snow everywhere. It was a quick two hour drive from West Los Angeles. We brought chains, but never had to use them because the road crews cleared all the snow. The kids had a blast in the snow. Thank Karen for a great time. We will be back.

Great with few exceptions

The home is great for a large group, especially if you are bringing children, and in a nice location. The owner was extremely responsive as well. I would say it was a 5 star stay except for the fact that the main level doesn’t have central heat, and we were never able to get the main living area and master bedroom’s heat to work properly, so we had to use space heaters. The owner was responsive in trying to work us through how to make it work but it just never consistently operated and we were only in town for 2 nights.

Beautiful property!!

We had an amazing family trip with our kids and grandkids and the home was perfect for our trip. Loaded with amenities. The game room was fun for all ages. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for meal prep, even a professional style grill that makes great flapjacks 😊. Will definitely return next year for more snow fun and family time.

Amazing home by the lake!

Had a large group with multiple families together for Thanksgiving. The home is perfect with several floors/suites/bathrooms that allow for privacy along with a huge modern kitchen and dining area for meals and entertaining. The game room with the large round table was great for board/card games along with the big TV and Xbox for the kids. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet with a short walk to the lakeshore across the street. Our dog loved it as well. Great walks with minimal traffic and amazing views of the mountains and lake. We highly recommend this house for a large group and will visit again!

Perfect Large Family Getaway

My sisters’ families and my family (party of 16 - 8 adults, 8 kids ranging from 9-15 years old) stayed comfortably in the cabin. We had an amazing time! Clean, spacious cabin that is a very close walk to the lake. We kayaked and paddle boarded, and being a close drive to the village, we visited the shops and enjoyed ice cream in town. We used the kitchen and outside patio area to make meals, play games, and relax. Plenty of plates, silverware, towels, bathrooms, and amenities for all 16 of use to feel comfortable and at home. We also appreciated the little extras, like having shampoo and soap available in all the bathrooms, plus coffee pods and creamers, which was such a sweet and welcomed extra! Having an upstairs lounge area, decked out game room in the garage, outside deck, and downstairs video game/movie area, we spread out and everyone had something to do at all times. I highly recommend this cabin and location for your next getaway.
