The lady at the front desk was very nice and Hospital. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a rustic looking cabin with its own private Jacuzzi,. It is an older property but has been kept up.

Amazing staff. Lovely property. Quaint. Classic retro decor.

The main reason we decided to stay here was because of the excellent cleaning comments that the place had. To which they were partly right, but it was not pleasant to find a pair of socks under one of the beds or when we cleaned the dining room table it seemed the opposite of having been cleaned, the beds are comfortable and the atmosphere of the cozy cabin, friendly staff. Correcting those details I think that if it would be a place to return. Oh! And I forgot to mention that the internet signal never worked and I needed it for my son's classes but we could solve it by sharing the internet from my phone.

The staff here apparently doesn't wear masks. They have a sign in the lobby stating they have all been vaccinated and are tested regularly, and they promise they aren't COVID positive. For those who value COVID guidelines being followed, you should look elsewhere. The studio room was incredibly tiny, hard to keep warm (and the weather was even pretty mild while we were there), smells a bit smoky (probably from the open fireplace), and had no shampoo or conditioner. The spa tub is the nicest feature of this property.

It’s easily accessible to the lake and park House was good just needed to be cleaned more and changed the bed sheet. We rented 2 rooms 1 room look like the comforters wasn’t changed.

Simply all that you need in a small, clean, comfortable, and efficient space. This is an one hundred old rustic cabin, but everything is well thought out in order to make your stay easy. I highly recommend this place.

Had a Amazing Weekend at Golden Bear Cottages. Close to the lake, stores and restaurants! One bedroom room was very clean and had everything we needed.

When we 1st got there to check in there was no one to greet us & I had to call them, they told me they had left the Key in a Mail box. we understand we are at a Cottage/Cabin but this place needs an upgrade. Couches are had stains everywhere & some tears,Tv had a hole on the top, they also didn't have an iron or blow dryer. I've stayed in big bear before & for sure this one needs some work! Over all it wasn't bad but definitely not good!

Sorry for your experience. We have indeed been fully vaccinated. We understand people’s fears but also we are safe as safe can be. Each cabin has an ample heater so we apologize you didn’t feel warm. We love the fact that you loved the tub. They are great!!!
