Great location and clean property. These are the tiny houses near a riverside, the views and beauty is serene. Owner was responsive, however, we needed extra bedding but didn’t get them for the night. Turns out I did not use an after hours line, so you want to be careful when you call. Some basic supplies like coffee, sugar, oil in the house would have been nice. There’s no grocery near by.

We had a wonderful stay at Strawhouse Resort. The property is beautiful, with the cafe and patio along the river. Good pizza and coffee roasted on site. Amazing hospitality from Don, Julia and all the Strawhouse team. We stayed in the yurt. What a fun experience. It was cozy and well appointed. This area along the Trinity River is so beautiful.

The owners were great! They reached out to find out my ETA and made adjustments to my accommodations. The coffee shop on site is on point. We were able to pick up some food for the day hike ahead. I would highly recommend this place.
