Great place for a night stay before we went on our cruise. The hotel was clean very well maintained and the included breakfast was great. It was an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants. Taxis were easy and quick.

We stayed at this motel in July 2017. It was a good location for our visit to Oslo. Walking distance to a bus stop and a tram stop the other direction. Good for getting about anywhere you want to go. Found a nice laundromat in the area as well, so I was able to take a morning and catch up our laundry. The motel is no frills, just a pit stop to sleep and recharge for the next adventure. A good European style breakfast with all your fellow travelers was nice. My only real issue was the noise in the room. We were on the 4th floor and with all the tall buildings around us, we could hear every street sound, car, seagull, etc, etc. With no fan or air conditioning in the room, there was no way to drown out the outside noise. Definitely bring a sleep mask and ear plugs if you are not a deep sleeper.
We were very pleased with the Comfort Hotel Holberg. Front Desk staff was friendly and helpful, room was modern and clean. Good selection breakfast buffet, all-day free coffee/tea. Good Wifi. Walkable to the city. Loved everything about the hotel except that our 5th Flr room faced the tall office building across the street and the noise from the street below bothered our sleep at night. It was Saturday night.
