Great location, lovely clean room and nice view. But the music from the wedding downstairs was too loud. You could almost feel it thumping. I was on the first floor. I did contact reception via Facebook and they speedily offerred to move me to an upper floor but by this time my mum who has an hearing impairment was already asleep and it would have been to much hassle to move. A friend on the coach trip was on the fourth floor and she couldn't sleep till 1am like myself because that was when the event finished. Please provide soundproofing or noise inhibitors and ask the wedding bands to use this technology. Or even put guests starting from the top floor downwards. Because I would not come back unless you resolved the issue. It would be a shame because I really liked your hotel. The features where you have open closet and the pull out tray for the kettle tray. A well thought out room. You just need to rethink your current way of doing things because after a long day of getting the ferry across all you really want is to have a good sleep!
We only stayed in Belfast for 3 days but this hotel was perfect for everything. Central, clean, comfy... even bigger bonus was the bar and amazing food! We used the bar in the evenings as it was very good value and had sports on it.. great for football or rugby lovers. The hotel itself is a little outdated.. the sofa in our room looked like it was well used but we only used it for putting our clothes on anyway so not a problem. Central to everything and within walking distance to everything we needed to go to. If you're a game of thrones lover.. I'd 100% recommend the McCombes tour to all the sights that were used in filming. Including the giants causeway and dark hedges.. Northen Ireland is such a beautiful place and going on a tour you get to see the best bits in one day. I'm not huge GoT fan unlike my boyfriend.. however this tour was better than just the normal giants causeway one as you get to go to an extra 3/4 places for an extra £10. A photographers dream!! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Belfast.. it's such great value for what you get.
Great location for a weekend away , very comfortable rooms. Checking in and out was nice and easy. No onsite parking , but parking conveniently across the road pay and display €1 per hour between 8am and 6pm . Free overnight
Due to cancellation of our scheduled flight we were required to stop over in Belfast for the evening. We booked into the Ramada based on previous recommendations. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable and clean, decent shower. Very entertaining pub less than 100 yrds away with live music and good crowd on a Monday night. good quality and plentiful breakfast and easy taxi call. What more can you ask for?
Well located hotel. Stayed here on business. Clean spacious room with nice walk in shower room. Ideally located for bars and restaurants. Good WiFi connection for work and plenty of tea and coffee in the room compared to some of the stingy offerings you tend to get in similar hotels. Attentive and friendly receptionists. Good base to explore Belfast, and would recommend for work and family trips at a reasonable price.
The staff were lovely, the room a bit frayed round the edges, but clean. I didn't like having a connecting door to the next room, even though it was locked (which I checked - and I heard the person in the next room doing the same later on!). It meant that sound from the next room was far too audible - their telly might as well have been in my room, because I could hear it so clearly. Food was good at dinner, although it took a long time to arrive. Other residents were noisy during the night, banging on doors and shouting to each other, and because I was next to the lifts I could hear them running. Too late to do anything about changing my room, because I had gone to bed when I realised - it would have been too much hassle to move. The breakfast buffet was good.
Christmas at the Ramada When I first heard that we were going toe Ramada St Anne’s Dq I was somewhat apprehensive. The Ladies insisted that they needed some Music to dance too. From making the booking I have to say that Eamon and Sales Team at the Ramada were most accommodating and nothing was too much hassle for them Thanks Guys! On the night the place was mobbed, anywhere they could put a table and chairs there was a table and chairs . The Bar Service was good, with floor staff on to take orders and bring the drinks to you at the table. The food service was done with Military style accuracy, the “Sergeant Major” I mean Head Waiter directed the service superbly. The food was good! starters of Mozzarella and Chilli (Bought-in) were hot tasty and sufficient. The Vegetable Broth was sturdy well made and nicely seasoned. The Mains were prepared by ‘Rational” which is fine the Food arrives all at one time on your plate. The beef was as it said on the Menu slow cooked, tender enjoyable and the accompanying vegetables and potato acted as a very good support. The Turkey & Ham was tender and moist and again “Hit the Button” The only minus for me was the Christmas Pudding was disappointing, I enquirer if I could have Ice Cream instead of Brandy Sauce but this was not available. Did not know what the pudding tasted like because it was doused in a thick bland mass that I think the closest it got to seeing brandy was that they shared the same Building. The drink was fairly priced, the Band was good but finished a little too early, the DJ played the right music that allowed the Ladies to “Strut their Stuff” On the whole it was a good night, Well done to the team in StAnnes Sq
Lovely spacious room, tiny bathroom but can see they tried to use the space as best as possible wasn’t a bother at all! Staff were lovely and the drinks from SQ bar were so nice too (didn’t try the food though I’ll have to next time!) Location was unbeatable, 2/3 minute walk in either direction brought you to bars and/or restaurants that were packed and lively most with live traditional music too! Would 100% recommend and will be back myself!
Stayed one night. The room seemed clean as did the bathroom but there was a rather questionable stain on the curtain which we didn't appreciate. The bed was comfortable but breakfast was disappointing. The plates were cold and the potato and soda bread were deep fried and squelching in oil. I would stay here again but would eat breakfast elsewhere which would probably be half the price.
Spent two nights there with 12 friends. The room was lovely twin beds large television, tea and coffee, hairdryer , lovely bathroom/wet room, very modern with laminate flooring. A bit noisy on the street at night. The bar was a good place for cocktails only £4 between 3 and 6, food was nice too and the bar staff were pleasant, breakfast was £10 extra but was well worth it, there was a good variety and as much to eat as you like. The location of the hotel is spot on plenty of bars and restaurants and not far to walk to the city centre, would definitely return.
