I found 365Inn after a bit of confusion. That is when the fun began. I wasn't carrying my passport because I had just submitted it to the Russian Embassy to get a visa for that country. Unfortunately I didn't copy all the pages of the passport - mostly concerned about the Chinese visa dates The result was that I wasn't allowed to stay at 365INN... I have tried (at the suggestion of 365Inn) my reservation with Orbitz, but as seems usual - Orbitz makes it difficult to submit a cancellation while in China.
I am so glad I decided to stay in 365 Inn when I visited Beijing! It was in an unbeatable location, right by Tenenanmen Square and the tourist shopping street without being so close that it was loud. The bar atmosphere connected to the Inn was super friendly and a great place to hang out! Thanks to the front desk workers help, I was easily able to sign up for tours and navigate to tourist destinations. I'd definitely recommend 365 Inn to any solo travelor like myself!
