Huge Potential

This accomodation was reasonably priced, close to train and City centre and looked quaint on the website. All of this was true to the website and possibly exceeded our expectations. It had a lovely breakfast, serve yourself, with views over the hills of Bath. Our problems arose with organisational features when we tried to adjust our booking. We made numerous attempts to contact the owner as did hotels.com without any success. When we finally did get in touch we had no joy. Our recommendation is that the owner needs to make a huge effort to improve communication with guests and follow up on commitments made. This continues to cause us grief. Beware of this.

No sevice and full of lies about doing things

Before we arrived we had email saying we would need to open the safe to get the key in an envelope with our name on it. Open safe there were 2 envelope with no name just room size king or double. Phoned the number as did not what to take the wrong key. This problem was solved quickly. Read about breakfast and was told that breakfast would be served from 9-10 am fine but staff would be on site from 10-12: pm. Had breakfast and then left at about 10:20 and no sing of anyone, had to helpself to everything by hunting for it. Looked at the fruit that was left out it look like it had been there weeks and would not even want to attempted to eat. Retuned later that afternoon found that our breakfast plates and cups had not moved and there had been no sign of anyone come in. Tried to turn the TV on and it would not work. Phoned the number again .Was told that he would pop in during the early evening and sort out the TV and bring new milk as it was only tiny bit left. When we retuned he had not been and nor brought any milk as said would do. I would also like to point out that there was blood mark on one of pillow and when we know that there was only one bed but we booked a room for 2 adults and child I would have hoped that there would be 3 towels. The cereal that was left was also all clumped together like it was old and I would not call that a continental breakfast as stated it was. Will not return as did not have the best of times

It's very quiet, peaceful and clean

It's not very far from the center of the Bath. If you looking for quiet and peaceful hotel, it would be a good selection.
