The is located close to transportation and shopping. It’s clean and has the modern conveniences for travelers. The breakfast was excellent but the staff gave us incorrect information about the Sunday bruch and breakfast arrangements which led to us not having breakfast as usual as we intended to have the bruch as it was timed closer to our departure for a long train trip. Generally the stay was great!

This very comfortable hotel caters to businesses. There are a lot of nice touches- like high tech elevators that both work and make sense, USB plugs where you need them, blinds that automatically deploy when the sun shines on the windows, and thoughtful lighting throughout. The rooms were clean, and furnishings were like new. The breakfast buffet was good, and cooked to order eggs came out quickly. It's only a 5 minute walk to the train station and major tram hub- trams are free and museums are half cost when you stay at certain Basel hotels, including Movenpick.
