Centrally located, beautiful hotel. Our room was so spacious, modern, very clean and extremely quiet. It was great having room to spread out. Plenty of closet space. The kitchen was a bonus even though I only used the refrigerator. Also convienent having the washer/dryer, I didn't have to do laundry when I got home! The help at the desk was fantastic, someone was always there to answer questions. Special shoutout to David, he gave us his time for inside tips of where to eat that wasn't touristy. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Barcelona. It was close to the trains which we loved also.

It is a sophisticated looking place, in a fabulous location, but there were various items that just did not complete the experience. From the arrival experience where no one would open the door for 30 mins and the comments about our booking from the surly manager, to the various worn or broken items in our room or hotel in general. For the amount of money were paid we would have expected the pool(s) to be heated. Great area, but the hotel did not live up to the cost.

Only a block away from Casa Mila, and 3 or 4 blocks away from Casa Batllo, with lots of good restaurants nearby, Suite Avenue is located in the excellent location for a tourist. The suite is beautiful designed, comfortable, clean and with full kitchen, it feels like home. The hotel has a nice and neat gym with Sauna, and also a swimming pool. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy both as we only spent one time in Barcelona. We will definitely stay it again next time!

The reception personnel made every effort to accommodate our requests. The location is outstanding, across the street from La Pedrera. The suites are beautifully designed and appointed. Although we did not use the pool or workout area, they were gorgeous. Will most definitely book there again on my return visit.

Exceptional quality and value. Perfect location a block from the Gaudi houses. Spacious, more like a small apartment. Front desk personnel could not possibly be more helpful. Great having a washer/dryer.

Suites Avenue is one of the Derby Collection hotels that offers first class apartment hotels in great locations. Book through the Derby Collection for best prices, join for free. Perfect balcony view of Gaudi building across street with nightly light show. Apartment was excellent. Full kitchen with washer/dryer and nespresso. Excellent a/c. Rooms on Paseo Gracia side of hotel most northerly have two bedrooms and two full baths. Second bedroom is a single bed but tv, closet, and in suite bath. Master bed has full deep tub for soaking after walking the beautiful avenues of Barcelona. Staff 24/7 at front desk are excellent and include English speaking assistance. Metro very close, taxis plentiful, 24 hour grocery within one block. Best bakery in city within one block.Cerveceria Catalana modern tapas bar two blocks away. So great we ate there two nights in a row. La Boqueria Market not to miss, counter restaurant far back left great seafood. Hated to leave Suites Avenue and Barcelona. Tragedy at Las Ramblas just two weeks later so sad but would not stop us from returning to Barcelona and Suites Avenue again and again.

Staying at Suites Avenue provided the best of both worlds--the feel of an upscale hotel in the common areas and of a classy, well-appointed apartment one could never afford in real life on the Passeig de Gracia. Nothing can compare to the thrill of sitting on the balcony with a prime view of La Pedrera! I am a big fan of pretending that I live in the cities that I love to visit, but I am not a big fan of the hassle of renting apartments or staying in B and B's. Suites Avenue was a perfect fit, with staff providing 24-hour service but remaining unobtrusive at the same time, as if you were coming and going from your own apartment. The furnishings were modern but cozy--not sterile in the least. The kitchen, with a washer/dryer, an oven, a dishwasher and Nespresso espresso machine, was fully appointed. We could obviously have eaten three meals a day out in one of the most fabulous cities in the world for restaurants. But consider this: the room and the kitchen and the balcony were so nice we made dinner in our suite for over half of our meals! The hotel thoughtfully provided a booklet that contained suggestions for a few close-by restaurants, a 24-hour pharmacy, supermarkets and other neighborhood tips. The room we had was extremely spacious, with a separate living room and TVs in both rooms. It was insanely quiet inside--no mean feat for being on a major thoroughfare. Open the door to the balcony and fall in love--with a table and chairs providing a ringside seat on one of the grand avenues of Europe. A small gym was great for a quick workout or for stretching and there was a massage room. We were able to book wonderful massages via the front desk. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly, eager to do anything to help make our stay special and to solve any problems that arose (as we could not figure out a couple of the appliances without their aid). The small rooftop pool was just perfect with a grand view of the Passeig, and afar in every direction, from the sea to the hills behind the city. What a vista! (There is a second, more private pool just behind the gym that is shaded most of the day.) I cannot emphasize enough how airy and spacious the property felt, from the glass elevators to the large welcoming entryway, to the rooms themselves. It had the quality of a big exhale from the moment we set foot in the lobby. So relaxing, so rejuvenating! Even though Barcelona is a city that screams "Walk Me!" one could also be happy with all of the shops, services and sights within five blocks in any direction from home base. We will return to Suites Avenue as soon as possible!

Great apartment, location and service! Absolutely loved the balcony in the apartment and the pool on the 1st floor. The staff was all extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again on my next visit.

Our family of three just stayed for 9 nights for our first time in Barcelona. The apartment 52 was brilliantly designed for maximum use of space. The entire front desk staff was kind and helpful. It was clean and felt very private. Because of it's central location we could walk the entire city. It has the best rooftop view from the pool area, directly across from Casa Mila. We will be planning a return asap!

This place was great! We only stayed one night so kitchen and washing machine was never used, and we only looked at the rooftop pool. This is truly a great location in Barcelona, especially for high fashion shoppers!
