This one is okay, but NH has seen better days.

Nicely located where its just the right distance from everything you need. The facilities are a old and it shows. Elevators are small and are basiclly falling apart. It looks like the rooms were renovated in the last few years, they are nice, modern, and clean. The fitness center is dissapointing. The machine has been broken for over 6 years. Do they ever plan on fixing it? Its very strange that every single NH hotel has the same exact machine, broken in the same exact way. While this particular property isn't the worst or best, its in an acceptable state for NH hotels. I am sure there are better places to stay, but there is something about this hotel chain I like thats unique and always there no matter where. Sadly, ever since they were bought out by Minor Hotels, all the NH properties everywhere have been neglected and are in decay. This one specificly has managed to remain acceptable.

Nice hotel near transport hub

Receptionist friendly. 700m or 8 min walk from Barcelona Santa Train Station, 6 mins from metro station. Lots of bars and restaurants within 3 min walk. Hotel is new and comfortable bed.

It is a very nice hotel, that seems to have been recently modernised, making it very contemporary. The rooms were a good size and comfortable. We had rooms facing the street but did not hear any road noise. There was some noise through the wall but nothing major, mainly from inconsiderate guests. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were friendly and efficient. Would stay again.

Modern decor but upkeep needs to be improved!

We were given room 129 after having to wait an age to get into a room. We arrived in the morning and I already knew that the check-in time is 3pm but was hopeful that we could get in earlier. We had to wait till 3pm and had to ask a few times at the reception before we were given a room and when we went up, we were informed by the cleaning staff that it was not ready! So we went back down and Isaac at the counter, gave us vouchers for free drinks while we waited. It was after over an hour before we managed to get into the room to rest (past 4pm!!). This room had warped floor tiles at the entrance to the bedroom and the bidet was located next to the tub making it tricky to climb into the bathtub to have a shower. Some days the tea bags were not replenished. The rooms were reasonably maintained daily though there were obvious spots where it was not cleaned! The location was close to bus stops and the metro at Sants. There are quite a few interesting food discoveries nearby as well. I was pleasantly surprised that I could seek the advice of medical doctor for free and Isaac helped me out on this. The medical team at the hospital quickly helped me sort this out and I purchased the meds from a pharmacy down the block. Another shout-out to Laura for arranging my move to my son's room (126) after he checked out. This room had a little bit more space and the bidet and toilet were located away from the bathtub! The staff at the reception were generally friendly.
