I was not even able to get to the hotel because there is no access by car. To go there I'd have to walk with suitcases and I am simply not able to do that. When I called to get information about how to get to the hotel the lady who spoke with me was not helpful at all. I cannot say anything about the hotel itself because I was unable to even get there.

This is a very basic hotel, but it was clean and in a fabulous location!

I didn’t have high expectations but the rooms were definitely more rundown than the photos showed. Also, it is right on a busy square so if you want to get any sleep, find some place else. There was noise ALL night long and still going at 6am when we woke up. Breakfast doesn’t start until 8am so anyone who needs to get to the airport in the morning gets nothing. The guy at the desk was helpful with arranging for an early morning taxi the night before, lots of dining options around and close to La Rambla, but definitely not worth the money charged and wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent location, amazing view to the plaza Reial. Late night noise from the plaza, may bother someone Price is good, absolutely worth it. Small room, but beds are clean and comfortable, also bathrooms are nice. AA

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was in a very good location. Breakfast area was in a cave-like atmosphere ( very cool). Breakfast variety was fine for being complimentary. Room was plain but fine.

The location of the hotel can not be beat. It is right on the plaza and central to the main area that you will want to visit. This is a basic hotel room and very old. However we spent very little time there so it was fine for the one night. Eden parking was very close.

Good proximity to metro stations and gothic quarter. Square where hotel is located is very loud and goes on all night long - music, drunken parties on the patio, etc., making it hard to sleep. Curtain in room not adequate to cover window, so light shown brightly inside all night. Without the light from outside, though, the room is quite dark. Room decor is nonexistent and size is limited. Private bath with bathtub a plus. Cold breakfast served in amazing looking basement/cellar area.

We arrived early than required, staff are very accommodating, we left our luggage in their store room , we went to our booked tour , we came back room ready & upgraded with no extra fee , amenities were so basic but we only need a bed to lay our body after our long days outside , so simplicity is so welcome for me, breakfast buffet is not so great but at least you have something to start your day , there's a lot of food outside anyway .

I have travelled to Barcelona every year for the past 13 years. This hotel, on Placa Reial, is in a superb location. Just of the Ramblas, close the the market and the Gothic Quarter. The room was inexpensive, clean, the Wi-Fi worked fine, and the breakfast was OK (nothing fancy). The only problem encountered was that the Place is a very lively location and the room was noisy almost on a 24 hour basis -- even at 4am Sunday Morning! All in all, it was very well worth it.
