This hotel feels like an oasis after the crowded and noisy Las Ramblas and Placa de Catalunya square located just steps away. It is located within a two minute walk to the metro and Airport bus service. Small but modern rooms with a very attentive staff. Our room was on the ground floor immediately behind the check in desk but was quiet. The attached private patio is overstated on their website photos however since if you step out onto it you are overshadowed by other apartments with laundry hanging directly over top of you. There is no privacy in this space. Room internet service was bad but the lobby has good service with PCs and a printer available for no cost. The bed was comfy and the included breakfast was good and served in a very nice area of the hotel.
We booked a large room and it was very nice. The location is perfect. It is on a quiet side street on the edge of the Barre Gotic quarter, about a 3 minute walk from Placa Catalunya. Breakfast was very good also and the staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Good central location but the room was very small, bed and night stands very low. Strange closet arrangement. We did include breakfast with the room and it was good. Staff at front desk were very nice. You can buy a bottle of wine or water at reception. They provide glasses.
Hotel Denit Barcelona ❤️ Great and friendly service Comfy and spacious room Nice breakfast 🍳 A five minutes walking distance to Las Ramblas , unbelievable choices of coffe places , we were getting americanos a El Moss café every morning 😉👌🏻☕️ With choices of pastries 🍩🥐 ,But you can also find starbucks very easy on plaza Cataluña 🌞❤️So closely to the hotel or Macdonalds Restaurants , art galleries, shops , souvenirs all close by , El corte Ingles ( witch is like a Dillars to us 🇺🇸but i think sometimes even better / so many nice brands etc) ,five minutes walking distance from the hotel , all of that 😲✌🏻😉👍🏻 Taxi cornes where you puck a taxi ,busses to tour the city just that close ( you buy a ticket at plaza Cataluña for a day or two of touring the city/ your choice , i believe was a nice choice to stay in Denit Hotel ❤️✌🏻 The rooms clean , the stuff fun and helpful and i was amaze that inside the room was quiet and relaxing 😎. Also walking distance to Ramblas this fun energetic (so many things and people to see ☺️❤️❤️) and awesome street that take you to the colon monument at plaza Colon, to the 🌊 sea and pier🚢🛳 and to fantastic places like Mercado Boqueria ( a must😉🌻) And Carrefur local grocery store lat the Ramblas walk also All that walking distance Happy we picked this hotel to stay Ps: Barcelona is gorgeous ☺️
We booked this hotel because the reviews were mostly poitive however we were very disappointed. The good points were the location which is very central and convenient for many attractions. The staff were helpful and freindly. The room was kept as clean as possible with daily towel changes and the sheets changed regulary. What lets the hotel down is the state of the room. We had the extra large which was no bigger than a standard double. The bathroom is in the room diviided by a glass door with the wash hand basin actually in the room. We had a bath that was old and chipped which I would not use, there was a standard shower over the bath which had to be angled a set way to so as you get under it. The bath was difficult to get out of beacuase of the static shower screen and I felt it was quite dangerous. The 'furniture' in the room comprised of cheap chip board drawers which were broken and chipped (maybe that's were the name comes from) and a small hanging area with six hangers. There had been a leak at some time as the ceiling was water marked and the floor below the window was beginning to rot. The whole room is painted white with only on picture on the wall, when I woke the first morning I thought I was in a hospital ward. This is not a management fault this is the fault of the chain that own the hotel. The rooms need some urgent TLC to bring it up to a reasonable standard.
The location of the hotel is the sole highlight as very well placed, close to placa de Catalunya. However our room was very diapppinting and din’t expect a view. The fitments are cheap chipboard which as also tatty. There was a dirty corner of dirt/dust hear the window that we complained about on arrival. Breakfast adequate on first morning but gave up on it after day 2 when there was little bread available. In any event the day before the bread sekection was poor. Hotel was not inexpensive and not worth it.
This small hotel is well located in central Barcelona in a quiet street. A great place to escape the hustle and bustle but still be close to great amenities, and wonderful places to visit to get an insight into this great city The price was very reasonable and the staff were outstanding. Davide, Nuno and Jovana who worked at reception are an absolute asset to the hotel. They were multi lingual, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and smiling, a lovely way to be greeted. I sincerely thank them all for their fantastic assistance during our stay last week. The rooms are comfortable, clean but minimalistic. The walls have interesting little anecdotes to read. There is no fridge in the room, but there is a safe. They have nice big bath towels, hand towels but no face washers. Be careful sitting on the chairs near the computer/printer near reception, they are somewhat unstable. Our booking did not include breakfast, but we had the option of paying 8 Euros per person. We had breakfast once only and it was very average. There were several cafes around the corner that gave you much better options and much tastier food. At reception, they had some snack foods and drink/wine options to purchase. Other than breakfast, we did enjoy our stay here and would be happy to return.
Hotel Denit is on an alleyway just a couple of blocks SE of Placa de Cataluna and a couple of blocks East of Las Ramblas and 1 block East of Portals del Angels. Everything in Central Barcelona is within walking distance, including Sagrada. The hotel is immaculately clean, the reception is staffed with multilingual people who are extremely helpful in every way. The breakfast was consistent and included hot eggs, ham, cheese, bacon, fruit breads, croissants and yogurt. The XL room was spacious, and best of all, the rooms are completely soundproof!
We chose a XL room based on other reviews and found it to be the perfect choice. We thought it might be the quietest hotel stay we've ever had. Also, a very clean hotel. The staff was lovely! Convenient location for city touring. Adequate breakfast to start the day. Definitely would recommend!
We stayed for two nights in September. The staff was very helpful and gave great recommendations. The hotel is in a great location. We enjoyed our Large room. The shower was great. It was a great value.
