This hotel was wonderful. Location and rooms were amazing and I wanted to give it the full 5 stars but on my day of departure I stored my bags with the front desk for just 2 hours. I had a gift bag that the front desk staff ensured would be okay and they stapled it to my bigger suitcase handle. When I came back, the gift bag was no where to be found and the staff person who had stapled it was away at that moment. I called about 45 minutes later only to be told they DID have the bag located in the back where the luggage was left and I asked if they would ship it to me only to be told no they would not be willing to. I asked if there were other options and she said no, that is it. My bag was filled with gifts I had bought, so while disappointing in losing the items, I was more disappointed in the response. I will say aside from the above, my stay here was wonderful and the rooms were clean and quiet. Service aside from above was fantastic. Disappointing that it ended on that note however.

Stayed here one night before our cruise. We were allowed to get into our room early which we appreciated after our long flight. Room was very clean, sheets were crisp (which we like), bar had reasonably priced drinks and the service was excellent. Lots of good places to see within walking distance and many good restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

In the heart of Barcelona, safe neighborhood, many bars and restaurants around and easy walk to the metro. In all exploring the city was so much easier from here. Rooms are comfortable and friendly staff.

Stayed for a short 5 day half term Easter break. Checked in about 8.30pm with no issues. We didn't book any meals with the hotel as the location was fairly central, and we found plenty of places to have our breakfast and dinner within walking distance. If you wanted breakfast, it would cost 12euros each. Plenty of banks/cash points /pharmacists/small supermarkets nearby. Our room was lovely and spacious. We had a double room with an extra bed (it was a double sofa bed), and still plenty of room to move around. There was plenty of wardrobe space, and cabinet space above the minibar and room safe. Also plenty of space underneath the desk/kettle area to stow away suitcases. The minibar was handy as we used it to store our alcohol and water (there is a Carrefor Express a couple of blocks away, < 5mins walk). No other food items were complimentary apart from the glass of Cava given to us on our 3rd day of stay, and the usual tea/coffee allocations. Equally the bathroom was huge compared to others that we had stayed at. It had a bath with shower. Yes it did have sliding glass door but it wasn't transparent as some previous reviews pointed out. It had a matt silver coating. There was an integrated hairdryer, phone, socket points, shaving mirror in the bathroom, with complimentary shampoos, lotions, combs, beauty accessories etc. Our room overlooked the main road, which wasn't an issue as quite nice to watch the hustle and bustle first thing in the morning and towards the evening. At night or very early morning you can hear the hum of the metro, but noise isn't loud enough to wake people up unless you're a super super light sleeper. It's all part of the territory having a front facing room, with the metro (Tetuan) being a couple of blocks away. Reception had some bikes which you could hire, and they can book tickets for you. We got them to book our Camp Nou tickets to save us queuing up. The hotel is central, and in a very nice area. Felt very safe walking back with our child around 9-10pm after dinner. Plenty of people walking along the main road at that time, with department stores at nearby streets closing late. We even walked back to the hotel from Park Guell during one of the afternoons when the weather was superb, so attractions are accessible via foot if you have the time and stamina. There is a tiny pool, I think it's 7m X 2m, max depth about 1m. More of a paddling pool and has a chair to lower/lift those who are not able to use the pool steps. We didn't use the pool, it wasn't heated and even though we had glorious sunshine, wasn't enough to heat the pool to a non shivering temp. The pool is by apartment rooms, and their doors can be opened to access the pool. Even though we weren't being loud, we felt conscious not to talk as much as some residents had their doors opened. On the whole, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Selection of TV channels for kids was limited but didn't bother our child as you can select the language for the programmes. Btw if you get reception to book a taxi for you, there is an additional call out charge, plus it's slightly more expensive for hailing one during the weekend.

Booked into this hotel on Saturday 24th March. The staff were very friendly and polite. We were told on check in that they had upgraded our rooms from basic doubles. The rooms were fine but very very small and our single friend had a window into a courtyard which made his room very dark. Bathrooms were nicely kitted out. But our only problem was the size of the double bed it was so small in every direction and my husband [6ft 1in] feet were hanging out and during the night I almost killed myself tripping over them, we were very uncomfortable and we wondered if this was an upgrade what size were the rooms and beds in a basic double? The location of the hotel is very good its close to everything without being in the middle of the bustle. I was recommended this hotel via my brother and would recommend it on but I would have to point out room and bed size.

This should be in your radar, it's a good hotel with a very tasty breakfast. The standard rooms are very big, with large bathrooms. I don't know if this is for all the rooms but in mine there was a natural flower, which is a nice touch. Is very closed to all the attraction on Barcelona. What I love about the room I had, is that even thought it had Gran Via View, I was very quite and perfect for sleep I recommend this.

Very pleased with this hotel,it`s location is spot on, a short walk from The Rambla (10-15 mins) and Playa Catalunia. Also nearby are plenty of shops, cafes` & resturants. Our room was spotlessly clean, bright, comfortable & modern, the double bed was also very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, polite & helpful and spoke good english which is very handy for lazy people like us who haven`t bothered to learn their language! Special praise must go to Fillipo on reception who worked very hard to rectify a small problem we had and who ensured that our stay was a relaxing & enjoyable one, Gracius Fillipo!! Can`t comment on the breakfast or the resturant as we eat out but there were always plenty of people in there so I guess that tells you something! The bar is lovely and the drinks are very reasonably priced for a 4star hotel. To sum up, we strongly recommend this lovely hotel.

Stayed here for the second time, but this time I wasn't so happy. The bed was terrible. Everytime my friend turned while sleeping, I woke up because my half was bouncing as well. Drama! Couldn't get a good sleep for both nights we were there. We stayed on the second floor and I guess I heared a metro below the hotel. It sounded like an aeroplane coming over but I think it was the metro we heared. The breakfast wasn't much, bread was getting old while laying there and refills weren't coming often. It seemed also like there was less choice than 3 years ago. Staff didn't seem that happy as well. From a 4-star hotel I expected more. I'm trying a different hotel next time.

Stunning contemporary hotel located in Barcelona, within easy access of most of the ‘must do’ locations to visit. The greeting by the reception staff is warm and friendly with a glass of cava on arrival. The rooms are quite big for a city hotel, beautifully laid out and very clean. I would definitely visit both Barcelona and this hotel again and again.

The location was great, just a few minutes walking for them main street and metro. Rooms have a good size and very clean. Breakfast was also very good, the only thing I was not very happy, they served us a glass of sparkling wine for breakfast without even asking if we wanted or not... I fund that not very professional.
