Stayed for 4 nights in Feb with my daughter for her 21st birthday. Lovely room, lots of hot hot water! Very clean and towels changed everyday. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was nice, coffee perfect and they even cater for Gluten Free which I only found out on the third morning and I had very yummy muffins. Location is perfect. View from our room was beautiful. On my daughters birthday we had a knock on the door and hotel had sent us a bottle of cava to enjoy before we went out. Little things like this, show they take note of their guests and care. This was a lovely gift. I intend to return with my younger daughter, but will prob need a holiday to recover! Amazing city.
Stayed here 15-18th February. On 1st impressions the foyer is nice if a little dated & check-in was quick & easy. Our room was on the 1st floor & the landing is quite modern so I was expecting the rooms to be the same but they were not!! They are very basic & a bit dated although they are clean. The bed was made every day & towels changed also. The tv has no english channels at all so a bit of a waste of time!!! The hotel has a restaurant & bar although we never used either. There is also a rooftop terrace but the weather was not too good so we never used it....maybe in summertime. The location of the hotel is perfect... you are about 10 steps away from Las Ramblas!!! HOWEVER..... our room was on the front facing into Las Ramblas & every night we were woke up all night with shouting & screaming & music...I have not had a full night sleep since I arrived!!! I am assuming there is a club/late night bar nearby & this is where the noise comes from but it is ridiculous to have to endure this every night. It would make me think twice about booking again I’m afraid. If we came back I would most definitely need a room facing into the back of the hotel because i could not go through that again!!!! 😢😢
A brilliantly situated hotel just of La Rambla within walking distance of many of Barcelona's attractions and good eateries. Although our room was getting a little tired it was quiet, warm and clean with a balcony overlooking the rooftops. Going to their rooftop terrace gave us fabulous views all over the city including an excellent view of Palace Guell's roof which was designed by Gaudi. We intend to return in the autumn.
Located just off one of Barcelona's busiest streets, La Rambla, you are right in the action. The staff on arrival are friendly and all in all very accommodating. The rooms are exactly what any tired travellers needs a comfortable bed, with a nice clean and tidy atmosphere. The party would however advise other travellers to be conscious of the 'seemly' convenient breakfast, to possibly seek better value elsewhere.
Really enjoyed our stay here. First, the terrace is gorgeous. The view!! You can see the top of a Gaudi building. The vibe is really cool with sitting areas in the hall, cool art, and books. The room was clean and comfortable. It was really quite large! It is 1 short block from La Ramblas and in January- it was really quiet. It was about a 5 minute walk from the metro.
We had a great time at Hotel Gaudi! We loved our room, especially the balcony with amazing views of the Palau Güell and Barcelona. Every associate we interacted with at the hotel was friendly, helpful and professional. The included breakfast was a nice feature as well and included a lot of great options. And you can't beat the location of this hotel. We'll stay here again when we're in Barcelona!
A szálloda központi helyen található, könnyű elérni a nevezetességeket. A reggeli bőséges, de nem túl nagy a választék. A szoba tiszta, de lehetne tágasabb. A tetőteraszról szép a kilátás és napos időben jól esik napozni kicsit. The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to the sights. Breakfast is abundant, but the selection is not too big. The room was clean but could be more spacious. The rooftop terrace has a nice view and sunny days are good for sunbathing.
Great hotel, very nice rooms. Good level . The hotel staff are very nice and help with everything, arranging rooms from day to day. Great location right in front of Gaudí's house. Continental breakfast.
This hotel is a good hotel, ideally located for exploring the city, being close to Las Ramblas, with its access to the Metro, and a short walk to the seafront from where there are various boat trips and excursions. The hotel is on the older side, but has been well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are not massive, but were more than adequate for our needs, and I was extremely surprised when told that the key to the room safe was complimentary, as lots of places I have been too, charge for this. The rooms had everything that we needed, towels, hairdryer, and toiletries etc, and were cleaned to a high standard every day. We did try the breakfast one morning, and found it perfectly adequate, but we preferred to eat out at other nearby venues, which we found had more selection that catered for our tastes. Considering that this is a 3 star hotel, I was very impressed with the standards, and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that wanted a reasonably priced stay, in the middle of the tourist area, but that was surprisingly quiet during the night, which allows a good nights rest.
Now I did book this some 8months in advance, so I got a good deal, and it was in January, the prices might be a little more expensive in the night of summer! The room had a good bed, it was a very large comfortable room with a terrific shower. Breakfast was very good and plentiful! I would go again, the main advantage of staying being it’s close proximity to the Rambla and the metro. You get very good views from the roof terrace!
