We styaed here for one night before we went to Sitges for a wedding weekend. It was a unique building and the rooms were comfortable. The location was perfect for walking around Born. The service was excellent.

The hotel has a lot of character and is a fun stay for couples and friends. It is located right in the heart of El Born but still safe and quiet in the evenings. Would definitely stay again!

Good place to stay for a night

The hotel has some weird decor like beads hanging outside the rooms and elevator. Besides that the room is spacious and comfortable. It was quiet during the night and in a good neighborhood.

Staff was great - rooms are in a separate building from bar and reception area. My room was spacious but the shower did not drain I well at all- there was water everywhere! But other than that- I thought room was comfortable.

Loved this place. Fun lighting and room entries. Close to everything. I would stay again. The only thing we noticed was an acetone type smell, I think they may have been painting or something. It didn't impact our stay, thankfully.

Great hotel, awkward bathroom

Our 5 day stay at Chic & Basic was very good although the bathroom arrangement was not the best for privacy and space. Coffee area was a nice treat too. Staff were very helpful and friendly.....great job!

Great Stay

Location is great, just a short walk into the main area(s). Staff, were nice. They left some treats in the room as it was a trip to celebrate our anniversary. The rooms are quirky but great. Area felt safe, with some bars and restaurants close by. Only negative would be that the rooms aren't 100% soundproof, could hear some snoring here and there. That being said, I would stay here again.
