Due to our flight being delayed, we got to the hotel at about 4AM. I forewarned the staff that we would be arriving at this time and they were very accommodating (they have a 24 hour desk). All the desk staff we spoke to spoke good English, which we appreciated as our Spanish is lacking.
We booked a queen room, however, when we got to the hotel, we were informed that the room was not available, and instead they provided a twin bed room.
Cleaning staff replaced sheets, towels, and bathroom mats, however, the amenities were not replaced, which was a minor inconvenience (if one was to have coffee with milk in the morning, but wanted tea in the evening, both with milk, there would only be one milk). Additionally, we had left used mugs in our room during the day which did not get replaced.
The location of the hotel is excellent with easy access to major tourist sites and the Espanya metro station a 3 minute walk away.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but there were a couple of minor niggles we wouldn’t expect in this class of establishment.
