Good quiet location. Convenient for Diagonal L'illa and Pedralbes shopping. Comfortable modern rooms. Friendly reception (procedure a bit slow). Breakfast cafes across the street. Very near Palau Reial (concerts) and Camp Nou. Maria Cristina Metro 5 mins walk, which links train to Sants station and airport.

I like this hotel. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is located just a couple blocks from the Maria Cristina Metro Stop. You can basically be downtown or anywhere in the city within 15-20 minutes or 30-40 minutes to the airport. Breakfast was included in the cost of this hotel and I loved it. Fresh fruit (watermelon etc), eggs galore, and the pastries were the best. What impressed me the most about this hotel is the female employee named Isabella. It is rare to find customer service from an individual like she provides. My first night I showed up at the hotel tired and half lost and she immediately got me settled and pointed in the direction of the excellent Garlana restaurant across the street. Throughout the week she answered all the questions I had about Barcelona down to the detail of which bus number to take to certain tourist attractions around the city. She would be an excellent travel agent if she wasn't working the front desk at this hotel. The regular day staff was not as friendly and limited in their language abilities but Isabella was always a smile and she speaks at least three languages. I will stay at this hotel again and will use it for study abroad programs. Don't expect luxury but it is a clean 3-Star Hotel.

Used this for a visit to a conference. We weren't in the hotel often but it was a good clean place to get our heads down and have a spot of breakfast. Wasn't the newest of decor but ok. Breakfast was a good choice, including plenty of (very fresh) fruit, bread, meats and cheeses. The hot food (egg, sausage and bacon) wasn't so good but passable. Can recommend the Spanish omelette which was fantastic but only served on one day! Staff were all friendly and helpful.

I stayed in this hotel in November 2016 with my wife and kids. We had to take two rooms. The staff was courteous. At least those on reception understood and spoke English. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom was also good. The walls were thin and sound proofing was missing. Wifi was always available. Our room was made up and bed sheets were changed on daily basis. Heating was also good in the room. We had to open our windows sometimes as thermostat was not very effective and room became over heated. Breakfast was very good. The location of this hotel is excellent. Maria Christina metro station is at a distance of about 200 metres from this hotel. The hotel staff can also call taxi for you for airport drop etc. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Relatively central location. Staff could be friendlier (lucky I speak Spanish!). Very good breakfast. Modern rooms that are juuuust beginning to get a bit tired. But honestly - their website claims "sound proofed rooms" - I probably couldn't have been bothered to write if it wasn't for that outrageous claim. I was actually able to record my neighbour's phone conversation on my iphone's dictaphone and still understand every word. His snoring probably wasn't that loud - it's those super-thin walls! Same for all the toilet-noises etc. All the rooms' doors are spring-closing - with a proper slam. And no guest can be bothered to slowly close theirs, so at all hours, the walls vibrate with those noises as well as the antiquated elevators. I have NEVER been anywhere this noisy before in my life.

The friendly staff welcomes you in a nondescript lobby. Breakfast room is nice and serves a very good breakfast buffet. Spacious hotel room but unfortunately I could hear the neighbours a bit too well. The bed offered a distinctive feel and noise from the springs in the mattress. Clean bathroom. Barely functioning TV.

Firstly the good things - the gentleman who greeted me when I checked in very late for a brief overnight stay was incredibly helpful and had fantastic English when my tired brain ran out of Spanish. The bed was clean, large and comfortable. Now the not so good. My room was HUGE but sparsely furnished (and cheaply so). The soft furnishings were grubby and the paintwork tired. It was not 'comfortable' by any stretch. The bathroom was tired and had a hole in the tiles in the middle of the floor. The hotel website claims the rooms are soundproofed. This could not be further from the truth. You can hear every conversation, every door slam, every toilet flush and every chair and footstep on the (cheap and horrible) laminate floors. I was woken at midnight, four am and 6.30 by the noise. The breakfast room is small and basic. My cutlery was dirty (and obviously so - the person laying the table cannot have avoided noticing). The eggs were cold, the orange juice cheap and FOUL and all in all very disappointing. Check out was painful and the desk is clearly not set up to manage multiple checkouts. An INCREDIBLY expensive hotel for the quality. There are much better hotels in Barcelona for far less money.

we had a great time in this hotel well loacted 50 m from the subway very clean staff high qualified very nice moroccan receptionist helping us all the time next to cafes suepr market very safe area ideal for tourists who are looking for calm and want to avoid teh crown and noise of the ramblas

We stayed here for 5 nights, we had the little one with us and although there's a ramp in to the hotel you still have to negotiate some steps to get to the 2 small elevators, not ideal for prams or wheelchairs. The room was large by Barcelona standards and was kept clean and tidy by the staff. I would recommend this hotel but there may be problematic for those with prams or wheelchairs.

Lovely hotel, in a nice area, quiet but with easy access to centre of city, perfect for family vacation. Barcelona itself has a lotto offer and we found lots of nice places to eat including the hotel so plenty of variety. Would definitely return
