nicely decorated in the old style furniture

Our tv didn’t work and we had to have assistance twice in one night. The complimentary breakfast was very disappointing, especially for the price we paid for our room.

From the moment we arrived we were treated with the greatest hospitality! The staff was friendly and efficient, and the room was spacious and well appointed. Our only complaint was that the heating system in Room 112 made quite a bit of noise each time the heat kicked on, throughout the night.

The hotel is within walking distance of lots of places. But the room, you can not hear any of the city sounds. It is one of the most quietest places I have stayed in Baltimore. The staff smiles and says good morning. Breakfast was healthy, lots of cereals, fruits and croissants and bagels.

The experience was very good. The room was fine with a lot of closet space. We enjoyed the fact that the hotel was right off of the water. The other guests seems to enjoy the hotel too. We had a good time walking around the and doing some shopping. We bought a beautiful piece of art and the artist owned the shop. All in all, we had a good time and would come back!

The bed was not a queen bed as reserved/promised in reservation, notwithstanding the hotel clerk's protestation when we brought it to her attention. My wife and I sleep in a queen bed at home. So, we know our bed sizes. The room had some problems - e.g. light bulbs out and dripping faucets. But, overall, the sleeping comfort was okay except for the occasional street-facing noise. The location is nice.

EXCELLENT FIND IN THE THRIVING FELLS WHARF AREA. RIGHT ON THE HARBOR AND JUST STEPS FOR RESTARANTS, BARS AND SHOPS. UBER CARS ARE NO MORE THAN 4 MINUTES AWAY IF OU NEED TO VISIT OTHER PATS OF THE CITY.

I was visiting my son at Johns Hopkins University. I wanted to stay someplace really nice. The experience was perfect. My son loved being able to get away from the campus. It felt like a mini vacation for him. We are foodies and enjoyed the authentic community diner, "Jimmy's" and the Irish restaurant, Slainte (the Scotch eggs and the Maryland Crabcakes were pure perfection). The hotel's location was the epicenter of the Baltimore Inner Harbor. The parking was FREE! My son and I decided that we would institute a visit every semester, a treat for both myself and my son.

Our stay was quite enjoyable and the hotel staff were very helpful and hospitable. We parked our car and walked or took the water taxi to inner harbor. It is a charming town with cobblestone roadways, boutiques, eateries & pubs. The nightlife booms with a younger crowd downtown, especially during the weekends. The hotel room was very clean and the complimentary bottle of wine was actually very good! The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. It was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is a bit pricey, but considering all the comforts and ammenties we received, it was well worth treating ourselves for a change.

went to a concert at meyerhoff hall and had two great nights at this elegant hotel.

Well appointed rooms overlooking the harbor. Feather beds were extremely cozy and inviting. We found the location perfect for walking to shops and restaurants that begin about a block away. Continental breakfast served by the hotel is replete with fresh fruit of every kind, rolls, and hardboiled eggs. We appreciated the convenient free parking that is a rarity in downtown Baltimore

Good experience. This was a weekend getaway for my husband and I for Valentine's Day. Check-in was a bit of a hassle. I had emailed the hotel stating that we were checking in late, the next morning, since we were driving up after work on a Friday and were 5 hrs away. They tried to tell us that we were considered a no-show and then couldn't find us in their system. After clearing everything with the manager, providing a confirmation number and a copy of the message, we were given a room near the entrance of the hotel. Beautiful cozy room but a bit loud with guests coming in/out of the hotel. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great continental breakfast.

Hotel was very nice and super quiet! Great if you are looking to stay close to Baltimore but away from the bustle of the inner harbor. Staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be that the rooms are a tad small; the one queen size bed room was just big enough for our family of 3.

The hotel is in a great location on the marina and waterfront and we have stayed there before. Parking is in a lot close by, there's free wifi and a lovely buffet breakfast included in the rate. We were there for a wedding across town but wanted to be on the water. This time, however, we encountered some problems. The phone needed batteries when we arrived, the TV remote control didn't work and we had some difficulty getting these issues resolved. Our room fronted the marina dock which was wonderful and we could enjoy as long as we were dressed, but walkers/runners were constantly passing by so we had to keep the blinds closed for privacy a lot. We found the lighting in the room to be inadequate, and the bathroom rather small. In spite of this, we would go there again as the staff is helpful and the location just awesome.

My wife an I drove to Baltimore for a weekend away and found this hotel[...] It is great hotel. Very warm, well appointed, staff is friendly, and it is good location. It is at Fells Point, and an easy 20-minute walk from the inner-harbor. Anyway, next time we go to Baltimore, we will definitely stay here. They do not have a restaurant, but it is easy walking distance to many restaurants within a 5-minute walk.

HWI is a beautiful hotel with great water views in a fun location. The Fells Point neighborhood has many great retaurants, pubs and shoppes within walking distance of the hotel. It is also near the water taxi, which can take you to many other great places in the Inner Harbor area.

Came to town for medical appointment. Hotel was beautiful and great spot for relaxing. Room was huge, beautifully appointed, facing the water, with terrific beds. On our next return, we will bring mini-reading lights-- our only complaint about the room. Very complete continental breakfast, complimentary wine at check in, helpful staff. Free outside parking on gated vacant lot adjacent to the hotel. Though good restaurants are close by, the Fells Point area is a bit off the main Inner Harbor attractions. So depending on your preference, that is good or not so good. Very satisfied with our stay there.

We have stayed in several harbor area Baltimore hotels and Henderson's Wharf is our new favorite. Because of the reasonably priced room we upgraded for a harborview. The view was exceptional from our very large beautifully furnished room. The complimentary bath products were top of the line and the robes, in-room refirgerator (for our complimentary bottle of wine!) were just some of the unexpected treats. The delicious continental breakfast the next morning topped off our stay. We enjoyed it so much, before we left we booked a room for New Year's Eve. Henderson's Wharf is a gem!

This inn was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. There are only 38 rooms (I think?). The room we had (basic room) was not huge, but perfect for us and very clean. There are no bad views. You can either see the harbor or the inner courtyard/gardens, which were very pretty. We were very pleasantly surprised by the continental breakfast offered. There were bagels, pastries, breads, waffles, fresh fruit of all kinds, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, cereals (and the list goes on). Everything was very fresh and the serving/dining area was immaculate. It would have been nice to have had some room service or dining options for lunch or dinner, but the rooms are stocked with munchies if needed and several restaurants deliver or offer shuttles to their sites. The location was great...very close to the water taxi...and the parking is free. Within a one to two block radius you can find cafes, a wine bar, restaurants with bars (some with live music), shops, and beautiful walkways along the harbor. We were close enough to enjoy the nightlife, but tucked far enough away that we didn't have to hear it when we decided to call it a night. We would definitely stay here again!

Expensive but well worth it. Delicious complimentary continental breakfast with fresh fruits & berries, cereals, pastries, cheese, eggs, yogurt. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, attractively furnished rooms. Picturesque location on Baltimore's harbor at the end of a narrow, brick-paved street. Lovely garden courtyard. Free parking (unusual for a hotel in Baltimore) in locked lot. Many restaurants and shops within walking distance of hotel. Nice walking paths around harbor. Close to Inner Harbor and downtown Baltimore.
