Lovely respite

My husband was having surgery nearby and I found this hotel to be a lovely little respite to come home to each evening. I treated myself to a waterfront room which could not have been more peaceful and serene. Perfect simple breakfast, great area.

Loved walking into the beautifully decorated lobby. Eric greeted us, although our room wasnt quite ready at check-in we were able to relax with a fresh baked cookie and iced tea. There was also coffee and tea available as well. Our room was upgraded to a pier/water view which did not disappoint. We found Scrabble in the lobby and enjoyed a glass of wine. This property had a fun history and is walking distance to Fells Point with many shops and restaurants.

The only thing we didn’t like was the surprise $30 per day parking fee. But the hotel is excellent. Safe, quiet, lovely and attentive staffing. The room was absolutely gorgeous with a great view of the harbor. Would definitely stay again.

The staff was amazing, helpful and so kind. It’s a beautiful place right on the water with plenty of places to eat nearby. The breakfast in the morning was just enough and the coffee machine in the lobby was a pleasant surprise with many options to choose from. Our check-in experience was absolutely amazing. Diamond greeted us at the front desk with such kindness. She went above and beyond to help us check-in and find restaurants in the area that were good. We spent a couple of night at The Inn at Henderson’s Wharf. This is a great location with great restaurants and bars within walking distance. The staff was great and super friendly. Not sure if I would stay here again though. The bed was old and very uncomfortable. The toilet made a loud weird noise, the pipe in the shower also made a screeching sound when turning on. Also the room is very dark even with all lamps on and since our room was on the first floor we had to have the blinds closed. We will probably look for a different hotel next time we are in Baltimore.
