This my first time in this city, and then i decided to stay in this hotel, my first opinion about this hotel was really really good hotel, good service, nice people, and also they had some good food at their restaurant, I recommended for any couple who in honeymoon to choose this hotel to stay in bai
Checked in to be advised my credit card had already been debited, not impressed as I booked with the OTA that allows you to pay direct. Room faced another hotel so no privacy and no view. They did give me a 7pm check out which was great and worth the extra $34 Aussie I paid for late check out. Less than 10 mins walk to beach. Couldn't find decent restaurants close to the hotel but highly recommend Kori a 10 mins walk away.
Was here for my birthday trip, unexpectedly was upgraded to suite room & was later greeted with birthday cake!! Excellent huge room. Was a joyful & pleasant stay. The wifi was abit poor maybe due to bad connection. Located at the busy nitelife street but its calm & relaxing once u reached the hotel lobby... Great staffs, always smiling & helpful Till we meet again akmani!!
Stayed for 6 nights for the second time at this hotel. Great location very central & friendly staff especially the roof top pool staff. The food is average & could be improved on but still acceptable. The ongoing problem with this hotel is guests coming in late & the automatic door closers slamming the doors at all hours of the night. I have raised this issue with the reception staff & manager only a few months prior but it has not changed at all. Reasonable priced hotel as long as you don't require a continuous nights sleep & are ok with being woken 3-4 times a night.
the hotel location is good it is near to all.the basic room was really bad which is not mention when you reserve i got a room with a wall view directly in front of my window. the hotel need to be more clean and need some renovation. the pool at the rooftop was good to spend some time and the breakfast was fair.
We stayed here for 4 nights in Legian, after arriving in Bali. The airport transfer was very well arranged. Upon arrival, we noticed that our room did not have a pool view, not even a window. So don't let the photos fool you, the poolside rooms are much more expensive. Breakfast was ok and the service was good. Great facilities and location for a trip to Legian.
We stayed here for 4 nights in August with a toddler & it suited us perfectly. The staff were so lovely & accommodating. We were upgraded to a room on the ground floor but wasn't right on the pool which was really convenient with the child. Some of the reviews say that the ground floor pool was cold, it is definitely cooler than other Bali pools BUT that is exactly what you need in the Bali heat. I found that pool perfect! There is also the roof top pool which is only knee deep but that is great for kids. We had already booked to stay at a larger hotel for the end of our holiday which we immediately regretted when we arrived at the Akmani. We will definitely be staying there again!
The bed was wonderful and king size. The joining rooms were really helpful with the two young children for sleeping. Definitely will stay here again. Rooftop pool is incredible and the staff were only too happy to help with anything. Location superb on the main street but very quiet. A little noise late at night due to long hallways but not unreasonable. My only gripe is that the hotel still allows smoking at the breakfast area. The breakfast area is on the 6th floor and is open and beautiful. Having not being a smoker and travelling with children, I think a hotel up to the standards of the Akmani could ban smoking in this area. Most people from western countries know not to smoke in food areas however there are many who just ignore that as they are able to in Bali. The hotel that makes that change gets my vote. I still recommend this hotel as we loved it.
Stayed here for 11 nights with 3 families. Kids aged between 2 and 7 years old. Check in was fast but a word of warning - there are NO connecting grand deluxe rooms. Buffet breakfast was pretty standard, everyone enjoyed the egg bar. AWESOME location - walking distance to Kuta central one way, Legian centre the other. Cocktails at the roof top pool were fantastic. What let's this hotel down is the fact that it's advertised as being "family friendly" but it really isn't. Let your kids get in the pool and they are greeted with dirty looks from the sun baking adults. The roof top pool only reaches your knees and the glass tiles are very sharp! We had an incident of a sliced knee which the managers response was "do not use towel for blood" - the cut required stitches! The downstairs pool is freezing! It never sees sun and feels exclusive with 80% of it being roped off for the pool access rooms. The staff were always very friendly to us (other than the towel incident). DJ plays loud beats 5 days per week from 3pm to 10pm. This is a young people's party hotel - not a family friendly hotel!
Great value little hotel in a convenient location. Rooms aren't huge but fine for a couple. Great rooftop wading pool with bar and cheap happy hour cocktails. Wouldn't stay with the kids (pool too cold and not very big) but great for a couples getaway.
