It was a great three days. The room was very nice and had an outstanding view over the jungle. The hotel is set on a steep slope but there is a funicular monorail to get you up and down to the restaurant and bar. Even with that I think you need to be pretty mobile; it's hot, and at Easter it's humid. Lovely pool area, very swish.

This is a great boutique hotel and i highly recommend Mas Iwan who works there is absolutely wonderful! Just sit back and relax and he will ensure you are taken care of. Try their restaurant at night, great ambiance and food. Enjoy the moonlight from your balcony and spend your time to try their SPA! Ayu was highly trained and very attentive. I also joined their morning yoga class by the pool. The whole resort is amazing, especially their staffs are great assets! Thank you Pak Imam and Mas Iwan.

My bf booked this for us and we were one with nature the entire stay. It’s quiet and secluded. The walk down to our suite was quite far for me tbh and I admire the workers for having legs of steel for carrying all our bags and walking the distance. The complimentary foot massage was great and much needed. Really enjoyed the hospitality.

I stayed for 4 nights in Nandini Jungle Resort and it was everything I imagined. We received a very warm welcome by the very friendly staff including the manager who was very personable and took the time to speak with us daily about our plans for our trip. We had an early morning trip on one of the days so a breakfast box was made up for us and was waiting at reception when we left. The food was amazing including the breakfast which was included in the room price, and the afternoon tea served every afternoon. The hotel offer a free shuttle bus service into Ubud 3 times a day with pickup also. They also have a taxi service to the airport which was very reasonable. The rooms were beautiful and at night the sound of the jungle from the balcony is something I will never forget. Due to the way the rooms are individually situated you feel like you’re the only ones there. The rooms were not overlooked by others and so there is complete privacy. The pool area was beautifully kept and again overlooks the jungle. I would recommend this little piece of heaven to everyone and Hope to return soon.

A little hidden gem in the middle of the jungle, a short drive from Ubud. From the warm smiles and hospitality of the staff, the breath-taking rain forest views from your room, one of the tastiest nasi goreng I have ever had (sedup!), to the spectacular Ayung river holy water meditation and yoga platform…this jungle resort is special ! Thank you Irwan and team for your amazing hospitality… terima kasih banyak ! I will be back soon.

My mom and I stayed for one night (our last night on our trip to Bali). We had a chalet right above the pool with incredible views of the sunrise. We enjoyed the afternoon tea as well as the dinner buffet with traditional Balinese food with live dancing entertainment. There is also a very spiritual spot by the river for meditation.

I really liked the relaxing and green atmosphere surrounded by the jungle. And the staffs were all nice and smiley. Jacuzzi and the swimming pool were nice and quiet as we had them all to ourselves. The climate and the weather was just about right even though it was a rainy season. And we saw a beautiful dusk over the jungle from our balcony. We had a great time there, thanks!

We stayed for 6 nights. The room (actually, more of a thatched cottage) was excellent - lots of space, lovely views into the jungle from the balcony and looking directly into the sunrise. Staff were exceptional - every single one of them. Pool and bar delightful, spa treatments very special, and the little monorail worked a treat. Nice bike ride routes nearby, and three minibus links to Ubud a day. Dinner and drinks a trifle expensive, but beautifully cooked and served (breakfast not always the best)...and the separate bar is lovely. One bad experience - frogs running and climbing everywhere when we were eating at The Station one evening (after heavy rain and sunset - be warned) - can't ruin the memories of a wonderful stay. Absolutely beautiful retreat and place to escape to. Grounds, pool, everything kept immaculately. We'd go there again in a heartbeat.

Amazing relaxing place in the jungle for total chill out. We only stayed 2 nights but loved it. It's great just getting away from everything and being with nature. Food and staff were excellent. Definitely the place to stay if you want to relax in Bali and get away from it all.

Overall, we had a very nice stay at Nandini. Nice accommodations in the heart of the jungle (aside from the many stairs you need to hike to get around - there is a monorail, but it's fairly slow) and very friendly and accommodating staff, until the final day when they attempted to exploit my husband and I while on our honeymoon. They told us they wanted to take our down by the river and offered us a free (or so we thought) couples massage. When we arrived they had a full camera crew. We went along with it at first thinking the photo was for us to commemorate our stay, but quickly learned this was a full on photo shoot for their website. Needless to say we got out of there and immediately checked out of the resort. We never heard from any staff following the event or saw any of the photos. My guess it they'll still use them on their website - even though we did not sign off any rights to allow them too. It's unfortunate that such a lovely place to stay would take advantage of its guests like this. Final comment: It's also a bit outside the city of Ubud, but it's easy enough to get car transportation into the city.
