It's a good Resort and location is very good. Very close to the beach and multiple restaurant options just opposite to the Resort. I dined at Coco Bistro, it was alright. Pool is beautiful and has a lovely bar and a good spa. Their Coffee Body treatment is nice. Breakfast is served from 6.30 - 10.30 and had good options. Free shuttle (3rd Party) from the resort to and from hourly until 9PM to Bali Collection shopping Square. And 3 Shuttles daily to Kuta.

Value for money was good. Relative to other prices for nusa dua ( that is an expensive area) this hotel was well priced, provided good service, nice atmosphere , great breakfasts and the families and kids enjoyed them selves. The pool and beach area was nice , happy hours were good value. It's not the Hilton ( ie it's a bit dated ) but again is was solid all round for a 5 day stay. Most hotels are relative to value for money and this was good. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

We stayed for one week at Grand Aston. I got a room in the basement with a view on a wall. The room was spacious, the furniture very old and did not work properly anymore. The AC in the room was working during the day and shut down in the night which resulted in uncomfortable nights. The minibar was very noisy and I had to shut it down. The bathroom was spacious but again old and used. The rooms in general are noisy. Breakfast was ok, choices limited compared to other hotels. They charge extra for Expresso. Pool and beach area are ok. Restaurants are ok as well. If this hotel would be renovated it could be a real jewel but today it is far away from being a jewel. I would not return.

My family recently spent 5 days at the Grand Aston. The entrance reception area is very Grand and we were quickly and warmly welcomed. We had 2 interconnecting Deluxe Ocean Rooms. The rooms are very spacious with twin beds or King size. I found the rooms a little stark(others may say contemporary!) Wooden floor, 2 wooden chairs and table with spacious wooden dresser. The lights and aircon are controlled by a single bedside fixed panel which was probably state of the art in 1990 but now is dated and frustrating. Our ensuite bathroom needed an upgrade: the chrome had worn off the basin mixer and the silver backing was peeling off the mirror, the bath plug was a rubber stopper that didn't appear to be part of the original bath fitting. The plumbing was an issue and we twice had to call maintenance to unblock the loo. The towels, with a single exception, also looked old. The corridors are tiled(a few are chipped and cracked) and the wall plaster/paint in the stairs down to the garden is blistering and flaking. We found that any noise in the corridor carried easily and each morning we were woken early by other hotel guests' activities in the corridor. Lastly the in room wifi was patchy at best but it is free. The attractive garden, the pool and surrounding area are beautifully kept. We had a single bad experience with one staff member and the situation was very well handled by management. The staff were otherwise excellent, attentive and friendly. Buffet breakfast was generous. Grand Aston is up towards the Tanjung Benoa end of the Nusa Dua peninsular which we enjoyed. The area is full of shops, restaurants and spas which are very affordable. There is a free bus which runs almost every hour down to the quite expensive Bali Collection shopping center(20 minutes). Here everything is beautifully manicured without any of the hustle and bustle that one associates with Bali. You will find 3 golf courses but no bargains!! Overall we enjoyed our stay with the staff compensating for what we thought was not quite a 5 star hotel.

This resort is marvelous ! We were welcomed in this hotel by the friendly staff at the entrance and at the reception. Room was nice and comfortable. Pool area was magnificent and bars were very exotic. We also took a free shuttle offered by the hotel to Kuta center where you can spend a day around with a variety of bars, restaurants and the Discovery shopping mall ! Special thanks & hugs to all the staff which made our holiday a memorable one ! I would surely recommend this hotel. Thanks Grand Aston Bali Beach Resort.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Aston. We had a deluxe sea view room which was very spacious with a contemporary bathroom. The only disappointment was the balcony as it was tiny! We had a lovely view of the pool and beach though. The breakfast had a plenty of choices and you could eat inside or out. The food in the main restaurant for dinner was gorgeous but it was very quiet probably because it was expensive. Once we realised this we ate out in the many choices of restaurants in the area for half the price! The pool is beautiful with a swim up bar and plenty of free sunbeds. We were pleasantly surprised by the beach as some reviews said it was dirty. We found the beach to be great with lots of water sports and fab to walk out when the tide was out spotting crabs and starfish. The staff are so friendly and service was excellent all round. Great location too near lots of shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend The Grand Aston.

Visited here with my husband in June 2017. We arrived at approx 1pm and checked in waited approx 10mins with a welcome drink and cold flannel most appreciated after our flight and our room was ready. The room was fantastic the bed was huge there was a sunken bath and double walk in shower in the bathroom. I can honestly say it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We had b&b only and could not fault the food or choices for the breakfast. There were plenty of sunbeds available after 10am and pool towels were provided. Drinks were expensive as most hotels are but happy hour started at 3pm in one bar then continued from 5pm in the other bar then from 7pm to 10pm in the other bar so all drinks were half price then but don't forget about the dreaded tax and service charges on top of all prices they add another approx 25% on top. The beach was great yes there was seaweed on there every morning but there were maintenance men raking it up and clearing it away. All in all this hotel was fantastic and I have never had such a fantastic nights sleep any where.

We have been to the Grand Aston twice now once in 2014 and again 2016, the second time we came with two of our children and our Granddaughter, one of the reasons we came back here was to show our children this magnificent resort with a touch of the old Bali and the new, And we thought the Grand would be ideal for our 4 year old Granddaughter which it was. lots of grass for her to play on and you could see her mind just taking it all in just wonderful.

We were met by our personnal concierge Caesilia who explained clearly everything we need to know upon our check in. View from the room is fantastic. It's almost 180°. Rooms are clean, staffs are friendly. We enjoyed ourselves at the spa. The staff ensure that the pressure applied is comfortable throughout. Definitely worth staying in this resort. You'll never regret it. Aside to the management: pls send the staff on duty @1600hrs in Samudera lounge for guest relation training. Her tack is a bit rude for guest to bear. It happened on 25 jun and i intend to let it slide but it happened again on the 26 jun. Therefore my conclusion is she lack guest relation training. Beside this slight incident, overall this hotel is TOPS in their service, ambience, cleanliness. Will come again.

My partner and I chose this hotel based on others reviews and it did not disappoint. We booked it through Hayes and Jarvis, and chose the free Garden Room Suite upgrade with the private transfer from the airport. Immediately on arrival we were met by the sweetest lady who rode with us to the hotel, where we were met with smiling and pleasant staff who were eager to help carry our luggage to our room for us and bought us the complimentary fruit drink when we had settled in our rooms. Each morning you receive free bottles of water and the room is cleaned, but never feels intrusive as they will tidy but not hide or move your items which we really appreciated. We had selected the bed and breakfast option, and the breakfast buffet has something for everyone! The food was always cooked thoroughly and the staff are very attentive in clearing tables that have been used. The pool at the hotel is just gorgeous, with clever landscaping including some sand by one entrance so it barely feels manmade. The pool bars are also a great touch, with each bar having a happy hour throughout the day, starting from 3pm! We ate at the restaurants a few times for both lunch and dinner and again the choice is huge and did not disappoint. We used the gym a few times as well, and although small it has the basics of what you need (although come on, you're on holiday!) There were also some live performances such as music and a show whilst we were there, but it never went on late and we couldn't hear the music when our patio door was shut, despite being almost next to the main area where the performances were held, which resulted in a great nights sleep every night. The hotel is based on a good strip close to restaurants and spas nearby, all within waking distance - including supermarkets which made the hunt for water so much easier! All in all a really relaxed and pleasant stay and would highly recommend the Grand Aston!
