I always wanted to stay in Conrad since a long time ago when I stayed for a few years in Bali. And this year I came with my family & my extended family, we booked 2 rooms. We really enjoyed our sleeps, they have great beds and pillows. I had a wonderful sleeps every night we stayed there. Some rooms & parts of pool were being renovated, as well as the kids club; however the constructions were almost noticeable. The room is very huge, especially the bathtub. And the bath products are excellent, I love the smells and the quality of the products. The hotel are very generous with the amenities. The property is very huge, and I could feel the serenity. This is why I always want to stay here. Top notch. I will certainly come back again here when I go to Bali (probably this end of year). Please send my regards to Mr Suriasa (staff in the main breakfast area). He was really helpful and attentive. He helped us a lot beyond his duty, that's why I love people in Bali. If you need to stay in a place where you need to recharge and to have a peaceful stay in Bali, certainly this place is the only choice. See you again soon guys.
We had a wonderful time here for my Father in laws 70th Birthday. The rooms were great and large, breakfast was delicious, grounds impeccable. Unfortunately my kids didn’t want to spend much time in the kids club, but it was located centrally and was inviting from what I could see. The only problem we had was the service at the restaurant on the beach. The setting was spectacular, but the service was not. Luckily there are a number of restaurants and other resorts near by. I would definitely stsy here again.
Conrad bali was just simply amazing, we had to wait for a good 10 minutes as our room isn’t ready yet but the reception desk, mariani kindly organised a high tea in the lobby area so we don’t have to go all the way to the club lounge. Quite disappointing that they aren’t doing anything for the new year as we expected a ballroom event/ live music at the countdown but our new best friend in the festive desk Sekar made sure that we had a really good time. Sekar was very helpful and friendly. She made us feel at home, I hope Conrad is also taking a good care of her as she did with our stay. Looking forward for another visit. Thank youuu Lara Bott
The Conrad is an excellent hotel but it seems that standards are slowly starting to slip. From the annoying water sports sellers that will not leave you alone on the beach, the slow service (45 minutes to get a coffee at breakfast and they still managed to get the order wrong), no shuttle bus to Bali collection ( you must rely on a bus run from another company which is never on time and seems to ignore the stated time schedule). We assumed there would be a New Years event with fireworks and live music as other hotels in the area were doing but were told there were no plans, this was very disappointing. This hotel feels like it is no longer a 5 star establishment and a great deal of training must be done with their staff to ensure standards are improved. I can not fault the facilities they are excellent. Also, Sekar on the festive desk was excellent and deserves a promotion and pay rise.
room direct to the pool u have a bag from conrad, and a hat also from conrad. dont forget conrad still give me a doll... the breakfasttt soo sooo sooo delicious and so unique. and the staff treat u as a king and queenn... trust me... have to try holiday in conrad
Hotel is very comfort, very spacious, food is very good. Beach is clean and beautiful. Will come back again with my family. Room quality is amazing, hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Love this hotel so much.
Fantastic balinese hospitality. Surya sir, Mankoo & Weerawan served up the most exceptional service at the breakfast buffet every morning. Our favourite table overlooking the swimming pool / beach would be reserved every morning and our special requests made to perfection. It really was very sad leaving this behind and we will surely return one day!
We are currently staying here, unfortunately another 3 nights. It is dated and jaded, even though we are staying at the Conrad Executive Suites. The rooms have stained walls and carpets. The taps are rusted. The Rin Executive breakfast offering is sad. The Suku Breakfast is mildly less depressing; only 2 cheeses ( 3 slices of each), no muesli, limited fruit and synthetic juices. It feels very 3 star. The pool is decent . The pizza is of a very poor quality. Staying here feels like purgatory.
We spent 7 days in this hotel and we had definately a good time. Nevertheless in comparison to other 5* hotels in asia it is not more than a 3-4* hotel. The room is already very old and used. We had some issues with the toilet and the door. The buffets have a lack of variety for a 5* buffet, however price is 5* level. I think there need to be a justification for the high dinner/food price, otherwise people take the opportunity to eat outside the hotel much cheaper. The pool area is definately very nice.
Conrad is one of our favourites and I have to admit I’ve been lazy with reviews of late. The last three times we stayed in a Conrad suite twice and the pool suite once. Pool suite on the right gets more sun, we did not have this suite so the pool was really cold and under-utilised by us. I’ve notice over the last few visits standards have certainly slipped. Check in was at the main desk, annoying as we arrived at the club desk quite a hike away but we were eventually greeted for check in. Rooms seem to have less amenities, scales have gone, limited coffee pods and tea bags as well as bathroom amenities which have always been generous. Easy fix using the Hilton app and my required amenities arrived promptly. Small thing but something that enamoured me with Conrad initially was the trays by the pool. First the spritz disappeared, then the bottles of water so don’t expect cool towels for much longer. Seems to be a new chef possibly geared to the burgeoning Chinese market they are trying to attract. I used to enjoy the Indian dishes at breakfast but there were none which was funny as the clientele at the time was dominated my Indians. Dinner at East lobby lounge was not as enjoyable as previous stays, cocktails were again lovely, as were the staff as always. Had a great lunch at Rin on a rainy day. Of course we will be back but I’m hoping the slide in standard has something to do with trying to save money for the extensive renovations which were no issue for us.
