We have always stayed at this property when visiting Baker City "Or. Staff is always friendly. This breakfast area was kept clean. Nice variety of food to choose from. The staff in the breakfast area was very attentive to checking on food items and cleaning up spills from patrons of the area. Wiping down tables for the next group of visitors. very friendly. I should have got his name as he was very good at his job, so whoever was working the weekend of 8/18/25 in the morning of the breakfast area, GREAT JOB ! you were noticed.

We chose this hotel off of what seemed to be a positive rating but found our accessible king room to smell horribly. The bathroom smelled like old cigarettes and the room like old food. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the four pillows provided were very small and flat for a king size bed. The bathroom grab bars were dirty around the toilet and shower and the floor grout had gross stains in places. I walk with two canes and had a difficult time managing the bathroom door which closed itself while you were trying to enter or exit the bathroom. Overall the room just didn’t feel very clean and was not worth the money we spent on it. We ended up leaving before breakfast the next morning. I do highly recommend the Sweet Wife Bakery which is where we found breakfast. I do not, however, recommend this hotel.

We've stayed at this property many times as we pass thru the area. Everything was great but we wish the mattress in our room was firmer. Breakfast attendant was friendly and on kept things well stocked.

Was judging the hotel by the raving reviews. The standards of the hotel and staff were way below average and i ended up paying around a total of $200 including fees. Ive stayed in better Motels for $70. The staff was so unhelpful, unaccomodating and awkward. The room Smelt damp and the pillows stank of grease, like they just put a clean pillowcase on a stinky pillow. Because we came in late, we went straight to bed and woke up to find the back door had been unlocked all night! Not cool, totally unacceptable. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone in the area
