We had a great stay at this beautiful home just a short walk from Rainey Street! The walk does take you under an underpass — it wasn’t a big deal for us, but something to note if that’s not your thing. The beds were super comfortable, and the home is decorated beautifully — definitely a spot with tons of great photo ops! (We didn’t take nearly enough pictures, but I did grab a few )The hot tub was okay but didn’t get as hot as we’d hoped, and only one side of the jets seemed to be working. It might help if it was preheated before guests arrive. We were going to cook breakfast one morning but couldn’t find a cookie sheet for our biscuits — not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of.If I had to add one wishlist item, it would be a bigger couch or more cozy seating indoors for movie nights. Other than that, we really enjoyed the space and would consider staying again!

Trash was not removed from kitchen and outside trash were full. Would like re-compensation for cleaning fee. I have pics to if you would like to see them. Overflow of trash outside

Great VRBO, would recommend

Overall would highly recommend. Walking distance from a number of great bars and restaurants and the owners were very responsive, including a few proactive check-ins throughout the stay.

Nice house but was listed incorrectly

We rented this house for a bachelorette party weekend. We had 7 girls. The house is located in a cute neighborhood not too far from the action. We were disappointed upon arrival to find 3 bedrooms not 4. There’s one king bedroom, one queen bedroom and a small bedroom a two twin beds. You have to walk through the Queen bedroom to get to the small room w no windows w the two twin beds. There was no futon. There was a couch downstairs that 1 person slept on. We hired a chef and the kitchen was stocked w minimum. No hot pads for hands to handle the hot handles. Front yard and side yard are clean spacious and private. Loved the murals. We had to contact the management team because the smaller tub bathroom was clogged. The technician/ plumber was there promptly and took care of the problem, that was nice. I feel like this house is better suited for 4 adult guests. If you have kids - the small 3rd room will accommodate.

This was advertised incorrectly. It is a three bedroom not a four bedroom.

This house was nice and a great location but we were very disappointed to find that it is a three bedroom and not a four bedroom. We did not have room for all of us and the communication with the property manager was not good. They still have not offered any sort of refund. Also to get to the third bedroom you have to walk through the second bedroom which does not provide much privacy at all. The house is in a good location and is decorated in a fun way.

Funky East ATX house!

Loved this place! Check in was a breeze, the hosts were highly responsive and the property was as described. The decor matched the “Keep Austin Weird” ethos which we really enjoyed! Great location in ATX with Rainey Street being a quick stroll away along with East Austin bars, cafes and restaurants all nearby. Highly recommended!

Great location, on-trend property, some cleaning issues

The property is set up for walkability to Rainey and Cesar Chavez. This turned out to be both good and bad. I only needed a car to get out to the hills for hikes, and there are scooters and e-bikes all around this neighborhood. It's also pretty clear that some groups have partied pretty hard in this house (1/2 the bathroom fixtures had clearly been ripped off and reattached at some point, the floor on my side of the bed was sticky, etc.). They provide cornhole and bocce supplies in the yard, as well as a fire table and comfy outdoor furniture. The layout is good with bedrooms upstairs and open kitchen/living down, but you have to walk through the 2nd bedroom to get to the 3rd. When I checked in, the primary bed/bath was pretty dirty (hair all over the shower, dirty floors, dirty walls and door, standing water when the shower is used). I didn't communicate this to the property manager on check-in because, for me, it's a one-shot opportunity to provide clean accommodations. I know how to clean, so I did it myself. However, I have no doubt they would've sent out someone immediately to rectify the issue, because they were attentive to my concerns when I finally contacted them. I was still charged a cleaning fee even though it wasn't clean at my arrival, but what are you gonna do?; it's a business.

Great Location cute house

Great location walking distant to many things or a short uber. We had a great time. It was just 2 couples staying so we had plenty of room. It is only a 3 bedroom with a sofa bed in the living room, but that was plenty of space for our group. We enjoyed the fire pit on cold evenings.
