Stayed at Lone Star Court while in Austin for business. May not be the hotel for all those traveling for business, but this location was perfect. Very friendly staff, clean rooms, nice atmosphere. Enjoyed my stay very much.

The motel was acceptable from a presentation point of view but I would not recommend it to people who are looking for a place to quietly turn in before 12.00 PM to 2:00 AM on a given night. It is a lively place regardless of the day of the week.

2nd time i have stayed. still cute, still great with rocking chairs etc, beds comfortable as well as Pillows are great. love that little in room fridge. breakfast was bacon and oatmeal and potatoes. asked about eggs, was told it wasn't on the friday menu, but winnie offered to make them anyways and she did. i am sure they were leftover and she microwaved them which is fine, just not great. i really liked the breakfast tacos i had the first time i stayed.

Wonderful location with restaurants and shops within walking distance, the rooms are very comfortable and the grounds are very clean. Great live entertainment in the evenings with lit outdoor fireplaces, nice ambience and family friendly. The breakfast in the mornings was great, good coffee and nice comfort food for a buffet. We especially enjoyed the large rooms, cozy linens on the beds and a huge walk in shower. We will be back!

This is a 4-star hotel. I first became acquainted with this hotel on an upscale flash travel site, and thought I would check it out. From the first time walking onto the facility, the vibe was relaxing and eclectic. There are various spots in the common areas to hang out outside and enjoy the scenery. The restaurant, Water Trough, was good and economical. I had dinner there 2 nights for a total of $57. A band played every night of my stay (Thursday-Sunday, James Speer was my favorite.) My room didn't have the typical hotel look. The floors were concrete, 50-60's with a mix of Southwest decor, and sliding barnyard bathroom door. The mattress was wonderful, slept peacefully every night. Staff was very accommodating. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The room decoration and cleanliness was perfect! The hotel is just outside downtown Austin so location could be better. Breakfast was great. The hotel staff weren't very helpful as to where we could have dinner. Overall we had a great experience.

Clean hotel. Very pretty and in a great location! Travel for business but would definitely come back for vacation!

Property is nice and staff is helpful and fun. The pool was nice and bar specials made for a relaxing afternoon. Water went out and staff wasn't prepared or informed but did their best. They said it has never happened before so not likely to interrupt future stays. Hope to stay there again soon.

I stay here 2-3 days every week and the staff and accommodations are excellent!

An adorable little hotel--we had a great stay. VERY comfortable beds, super-cute decor, and easy parking. There's great ambiance and the breakfast that was included was above what we expected. We'd definitely stay again. The only drawback is the location--it's quite far from Austin and basically located in a shopping mall. But overall, we were quite happy with our stay.

This was my second time to Lonestar, I'm an Austinite that likes to have a staycation every once in a while. The hotel is a tiny bit hoakie with it's theme but it's very nice and I love all the outdoor hangout areas. The beds are so comfy, the staff is great and I really appreciate the continental breakfast they have. They have live music on the weekends and it was nice to sit by the pool and listen to the band. Overall I have enjoyed this place immensely!

Great place in a great location. Take better pictures. Current pictures don't show how awesome this place is.
