Perfect spot on the lake

A perfect spot for relaxing on the lake. Very comfortable with a homey feel, and friendly owners. There’s a great winery, a brewery and state park a very short distance away. A place to come back to again.

Awesome place

Peaceful stay in a beautiful place

The house was great and exactly as advertised. Everything was clean and well supplied. The owners were easy to reach when needed. We had a great time kayaking and swimming in the lake. The highlight of the trip was definitely watching sunset over the lake in the hot tub. We hope for a return visit someday!

Perfect!

We stayed for 9 days at Sunset Paradise. The house was clean and cozy; perfect for both sets of grandparents, me, my sposue and our 2 teen boys. Lake-front accomodations were exactly what we wanted as we spent our days and nights swimming, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, and boating. The outdoor space with the hot tub were amazing. The house has everything you might have forgotten for all ages. Debbie and Paul offered the option of extra water toys for rent that made our stay even more fun. Great communicafion and responsiveness from Debbie and Paul throughout our stay. Book and you won't regret it!

Weekend getaway

Husband and I took advantage of a weekend away before becoming parents to two girls! It was beautiful—house was amazing. Had all the comforts we could have asked for. Kitchen had a great supply to make any dish! Really enjoyed our time and look forward to bringing our girls back one day! Thank you Paul and Debbie for being amazing too, from showing us the boat lift to being readily available anytime for a question!

Great spot for a relaxing girl's weekend!

We spent a beautiful four-day weekend in the prime of the fall foliage season and this was a beautiful lake location for our stay. It did take a bit of a drive to get to the wineries on Seneca lake, but we enjoyed spa treatments, wine tastings, and amazing dinner at the Aurora inn and lots of quality time at the house and around in the area. The rental was easy and the house was in need of some upgrades but in good shape and clean. The owners were sweet and very thoughtful with many little details and recommendations for a great stay. We definitely want to come back again!

Perfect Lake House

Awesome, well equipped lake house with lovely lake views, pretty sunsets and outstanding amenities. We had 3 generations stay comfortably with plenty of space to cook, visit and relax. The dock and boat lift are easy to use and help get onto the lake. We’ll be back for sure!

Great vacation

Paul and Debbie are great hosts and very responsive and accommodating. I actually think the pictures don’t do the house justice. The kitchen was remodeled and the connecting living room is ample space for a get together. When the weather is nice, you can really spread out on the screened in porch, the deck overlooking the lake, the lower deck or the fire pit. We found this to be a great spot for our family and would love to come back and book the place next door (same owners) also to accommodate a growing family. Thanks for a great time!

The true meaning of R & R

We loved this property! I have never heard so much quiet in my life! Sitting on the deck early morning w your coffee watching the loons and the ducks was so cool. As far as amenities, it was as if you were walking into a different version of your own home. If you could possibly need it or forget it - it's there!! Location was great even if you plan to hit the wineries on the other side of the lake. Paul was great accommodating a last minute pet. We will be staying again and may look to rent the house next door as well for a larger group.

Lovely home, great, peaceful location!

We loved our stay at Sunset Paradise! The house is lovely, well-stocked, and has a new, fully screened in porch that is perfect for dining outside. It is right on the lake with beautiful sunset (and moonset) views! We will be back.

Sunset Paradise

This was a wonderful get away with a nice balance of space to have time together and time alone. It was wonderful to be able to listen to the waves and enjoy being so close to the water. We struggled to figure out the hot water in the kitchen but the showers were lovely. We are grateful that the owners were flexible and allowed us to extend our last day into the afternoon.

Thanksgiving

We were a party of friends who choose to have Thanksgiving somewhere different every year. We look for cozy, a good kitchen, enough beds and near a body of water. Wow! we got lucky. We had one small problem, called the owner and it was cleared up in about 30 minutes, (on Thanksgiving - yes we felt bad). I, the writer of this review, would highly recommend this beautiful home on the lake. BTW - the kitchen was stocked with condiments, spices, food wraps and a variety of teas.
