The hotel description is very deceiving. I thought I was staying at an inn right on the water with a private beach (this is what was depicted on Orbitz) and instead we were placed across the street at a sister hotel. Not waterfront and much smaller with less amenities. While the place where we stayed was nice and clean, it was not what we were expecting for the money. We payed way more than we should have for this room. Please book with caution.

Multiple boutique properties in quiet non commercial village. Personal attention in Inn and restaurant.

It is nice and calm. It has beautiful architecture. Very nice room and comfrotable bed :)

Top Notch! Sparkling Finger Lakes wine, roses, cookies and a beautiful room all made for a wonderful anniversary for me and my wife. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was beautiful. We had room 8 which was the Suite and it was wonderfully decorated and appointed. Would request this room again. The only regret was that you cannot access the back third floor porch to sit on and as a matter of fact cannot sit on the front third floor porch either! We would not return in early spring either as the hotel did not have any porch furniture ready nor were they able to light a fire by the lake for us at this time of year. This was quite disappointing so we didn't have any time outside. They also had nothing other than their fancy restaurant in terms of food. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast there but would have benefited from a less formal meal for dinner. The town is very sparse for obtaining groceries and restaurants for that matter. A small convenience market is located next store but quite limited as well. The first night we ate at the Pub across the street called Fargo but the food was not so great and surprisingly a bit on the expensive side. My sister and I ordered a Kentucky Mule and were charged $6.00 + $14.00 for the bourbon (I never saw that before). We also couldn't even find a pizzeria within a reasonable distance to the Inn. This is a very sleepy town so I'd advise do not stay there if you are not truly looking for a complete sedate stay. I hired Finger Lakes Limo Co. to escort us on a Winery Tour and that was fun but got charged extra bkz Aurora is way off the typical path and we missed a few of the usual stops bkz of distance.

Excellent meal in the Aurora Inn restaurant. Great service.

the place is beautiful, staff was very pleasant and helpful, room was perfect. Everything was top notch.
