I had serious car trouble during my stay and the front desk and maintamce staff went above and beyond to help me. The front desk staff was extremely helpful to my needs and sensitive to my level of stress. Her kindness brought me to tears. The maintence helped me with my car and came back and assisted the tow truck driver as well. In these times we live in kindness goes a long way. Thank you.

Rooms are small and have an old feel to them. Furniture appeared older. We had two rooms and each room had a rolling chair and the fabric was old and dirty. I was overcharged for a massage service in the spa.

The Spa was fairly nice and enjoyable. I will probably skip spending a night at the hotel next time and just utilize a day pass to the Spa. The room was not very clean. Black fingerprints all around the door jamb, hair in the bathroom and someone's dirty socks in the room.

We chose to stay in this hotel for parents' weekend despite it being 20 minutes away from our son's college. I found and booked our stay through Orbitz. The price was very reasonable. The continental breakfast was very good with all fresh offerings. The gym was better than most in terms of the type of equipment offered and available. The hotel even had a spa and pool, neither of which we used. Based on our stay, we liked it enough to change our reservation from another hotel, that is close to the college, to the Senator Inn for our son's graduation next May.

booked room through Orbitz. When we got there was told that the room (double/double) was not available and was offered a king w rollout. Went to get luggage and in 3 minutes was told there was a cancellation and we could have booked room or keep "better" king room. Unfortunately we took the king/rollout which was not comfy. Pool was nice. Food was good. Room was clean. Hotel is not a cookie cutter chain. Older but updated. One concern...the door to the outside at the end of hallways was unlocked and open to anyone that wanted to get in even without keycard.

Was a slow check in. Went to the room outside the door cob Webbs dirt gravel. Inside smelled terrible. Bathroom had hair on the walls and in tub. I went and bought clearer and air freshner..

The room was spacious, although there was a stain on the carpet. Most of the staff was very friendly and very good at their job! One girl at the front desk on 3rd shift was quite grumpy and short, but I suppose that is why she is on 3rd shift. The amenities were fantastic! The gym, the spa, the indoor pool and hot tub were some if the nicest I have ever seen at a hotel. I would definitely stay here again! I just might not ask the 3rd shift desk attendant for coffee and fork in the future.

While the convenience, friendliness and amenities were all top-notch, the room was very small and cramped. Desk chair was a misery.

Arriving 3 1/2 hours before check-in with a migraine, I was very pleased that the staff was able to let me check in early. The room was fine, but the whole floor had a slight smell of urine. I was very pleased with my delicious dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

Great room, fantastic staff, they really pampered us.

Hotel is dated and needs to be updated. Room was clean but old.

Spa was great. Had a double room, beds were uncomfortable and the room was considerably outdated.

The room was okay but it was as far from the front desk as you can be. Needed to have the bathroom overhauled, with cracks in the wall of the tub.

I travel on business and The Senator offers a nice room just off the highway at a great rate. This is an older hotel, so the rooms are not huge, but they are very clean, have all the amenities including microwave, small fridge, large tv and comfortable beds. I had a queen bed in clean room for half the cost of other hotels. Their restaurant is outstanding too.

The check in staff never acknowledged me when I was waiting to check in. I stood there for about 6 or 7 minutes before anyone even made eye contact with me. They didn't smile or tell me to have a nice visit. A little disappointed about our stay. The hit tub and the breakfast was very nice. Our room was near the banquet room which was loud because a wedding reception was going on.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Great hotel with a great location!! Would definitely stay there again. Clean room with a great staff!

Very much enjoyed unwinding at the Senator Inn in Augusta!

Spent the night while in town for a wedding. Great room, friendly staff and easy highway access. Brunch the morning was hot and plentiful. Would definitely stay again.

The room was comfortable but the bathroom had no counter space for make-up, toothpaste, toothbrush, etc. The free breakfast was phenomenal; the make-your-own waffle was delicious. There was plenty of parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
