Stayed here and had one of the Superior Bedroom Apartments to sleep 3 adults. The rooms were small.. but bed was very comfortable. Apartment was very clean.. with little kitchen area. Lounge area was small aswell.. However it was perfect as we did not spend alot of time in the room itself as were out doing things.. Overall would defintely recommend and would not hesitate to stay again. For the price it was Great!
Mattress needed replacing, nearly rolled out of bed, 7 nights with sore back every night despite putting pillows under mattress, no response from monologue receptionist. Leak in bathroom we fixed it with their tools, shower door not closing we put up with it. Apart from that clean but small only one window as we were on ground floor, obviously the cheap room. Wakefield St hill is a killer to walk up, it is in close proximity to Civic & centre. Smokers all along street dropping butts & outside hotel. WiFi kept not connecting despite complaining four times, poor response. Wouldn't go back.
We stayed for just one night as we were seeing a musical at the beautiful Civic Theatre. The rate was reasonable for a Saturday night .The apartment was a 2 bedroom self contained one with a wee kitchenette. The decor was basic but at least clean with nice quality linen and toiletries offered. The location was up a hill off Queens street and very close to the Civic theatre and CBD. Reception was friendly. If you are after a reasonable and no frills stay in the Auckland city this is a good budget option.
Good place to stay staff was friendly and room was clean. I had no issues with the place. Close to shops and downtown if you like walking. Rooms offer everything you need if you wish to cook in your room and save a little money eating out.
There was old blood on the duvet from a previous guest. However, the bed was really comfy and the room spacious. The heat pump heated up the room well. Staff were friendly enough except my experience with the manager.
Basic room, a bit cold. Has basic facilities for a serviced apartment. Local stores sell basic food, but nearest food outlets are a 10 minute walk. Easy walking distance of Queen Street shopping and ferry is 20-25 minutes' walk.
As long as we could get a room that isn't looking at the garage entrance we would probably book again. But access to the motorways if driving is handy. Queen St and Aotea Square is a short walk down hill. The food options nearby are plentiful if your looking for streetfood also.
Good rooms for the price. You have to do your dishes and take your own rubbish out which is a pain if you are only there for 1 night and need to leave super early in the morning. The area is busy, so I had to park 2 blocks to check in. It's also very hard to see when you're driving past. Look for small, red sign up high. Those are the only negatives, really. Good price, though. I would consider this place again because of the price.
My room had a very terrible , unpleasant smell in the room, prior guest cooked heavily, strange smell food in the room and smell was still in the room. I had to leave the windows open at night to be able to sleep. Even my nose is partly blocked due to cold, smell was still very strong.
The property is in the most central location of Auckland. Definite value for money with spacious apartments. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Apartments are kept neat and clean. There is a strict no smoking policy, so if you are a smoker please request or book a balcony apartment. Highly recommended to all travellers.
