A Place At The Beach offers extensive amenities and one of the best family getaways imaginable - there's practically no reason to ever leave the resort grounds!


Can't you just see the excitement on your children's faces as they approach the outdoor swimming pool and water slide or the nine-hole putt-putt golf course? Don't forget about the hot tub, the shuffleboard, the tennis and basketball courts, the game room, and the gas grills. There's even an indoor pool should the rain ever decide to move in. Ready to hit the beach? You can follow the walkway to the beautiful, white sand of the Crystal Coast and ride the waves, soak up the sun, or collect seashells.


This nice, updated condo is located on the first-floor side of Building L. Amenities include a private balcony, a galley kitchen with a dishwasher, two TVs, free WiFi throughout, and on-site laundry facilities.

Very convenient location with beach access and lots to do in the area so you don't have to drive anywhere! The property was a bit musty but not terrible. Quiet area with friendly people. We will be back.

Great place to stay

Beach access from the property is a huge plus. We didn't partake in any of the amenities on site but there was enough to do there that you wouldn't need to leave the complex. Huge swimming pool, mini golf, hot tub, shuffle board, tennis courts, etc.

Very Bad

The property was dirty, and not just old, but the carpets were extremely stained and gross, walls had stains, hard floors and the refrigerator handle were sticky, and there was trash left under the beds and other furniture. After 24 hours we realized that there were issues with the AC, called and were told that someone would come out the next day before noon. Called back at 3:00 pm the next day, said they would send someone out and give us a call when they were on their way. No call, someone showed up but wouldn’t come in to inspect the unit because no adults were present, left again. Finally we got temporary AC window units installed, which were an improvement but not ideal, and those stayed for the remained of our trip. The microwave never worked. We contacted management about it and they never responded until the night before check out, when they offered to bring one over (we declined). The primary/king-sized bed is extremely uncomfortable; my husband and I both had a hard time sleeping through the night. We enjoy the amenities at A Place at the Beach but will not be returning to this unit and will avoid working with Vacasa in the future.
