The lobby was beautiful and the room was decent but if you got closer it was not as clean and nice as I thought. Black construction gunk in the shower head, unknown hair on my bed, that's the grossest, very loud hallway, I could hear every movement of others in the hall, and interstate side room was so loud it was hard to sleep. I was looking forward to the bed the most, and it was hard and uncomfortable. I somehow got a handicap accessible room which I didn't request and wondered if some one could have used it. I also checked out to 3 police cars blocking the front entrance due to a drugged/drunk loiterer who was sleeping in a stolen car in the parking lot. Lovely!

Took too much money off my card and told me they didn't see in their system where it took that much. Told me to wait 5 days to see if it will be refunded to my card!!! Will NEVER stay here again

Staff was great, place needs a new look. Rooms old, lobby old, bar old

Location was convenient. We were looking for somewhere close to Emory. The room was very nice and quiet. The beds were comfortable. Very clean. The accommodations were very nice. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. Really appreciated Keith and the shuttle service! It was a very good experience!

Business next door had Windows shot out during my stay, filthy and outdated room, very disappointed in Doubletree-will never stay in one again!

Great service, but room and building are dated. Bedding was white duvet cover style, but some additional improvements were needed including basic unsightly things like faucets in disrepair. There was smoking in building. Elevators are slow! Good location for Emory and interstate access. Solid 3.

My stay in the hotel was pleasant. The facility itself is very old. The elevators need updating and the rooms seem dark and dingy. It was clean, however, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I wasn't offered my cookie but besides that, it was nice.

Nice hotel. Not much in walking distance. But no complaints. No free breakfast

You pay for it, but you get what you want - clean with decent amenities.

Let me count the ways: 1) Tub didn't drain until 10 min. after shower's complete 2) No dedicated exhaust fan in toilet area which left it unpleasant for others 3) Couldn't turn on a/c fan to continuous mode for night sleeping 4) Difficult to change tv stations and sound level with remote. 5) Second sink at second bathroom counter would have been a definite plus for 2 people to get ready in the morning. 6) The food served for breakfast was excellent. The service only rated a 1 out of 5 7) I recommend this hotel only if you are getting a great room rate

The staff were wonderful and friendly. Check-in was easy and fast. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious! Our room could have been cleaned better. There were crumbs on the floor and the underside of the toilet seat needed cleaning. Furthermore, the whole place could use some renovations. Some of the tiles in the pool had come off and a tile in our bathroom was broken and loose. Overall, we got what we paid for.

Had to be moved since the room I booked wasn't the room I was placed in. House keeping never cleaned room, changed towels, or mad beds. Entire floor smelled like smoke. And was never told breakfast wasn't free untill after I ate.

Overall our experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta Emory Area was great. The hotel was nice, pool was nice, appearence was nice, and staff was very generous. We were welcomed and treated like respectable guess the entire stay. Hotel was located near several fast food places, 2 blocks from Lenox Mall, and extremely close to I-85. Con: Air conditioning trouble the first night but it was fixed before the 2nd night.

The hotel is older and needs remodeling. The rooms smelled stale. Finally noted that bathrooms did not have exhaust fan and moisture would build up in room.

The staff was rude and unhelpful And yall need to inform people unfront that the hotel require more money at checking . Room desposits

Indeed, they love to give those warm chocolate chip cookies at check-in, and greet you with a smile, too! I got the hotel at 1.30am on the day I was planning to arrive and arrived with a late check-in (which I did give notice for a late check-in ahead of time) and everything was ready for us. I have a family of 4, got a very clean double queen size bed non-smoking room on the top floor with a decent view into Atlanta. I liked the smell of the soaps, the wolfgang puck coffee pods, and the super friendly service. The parking was ridiculously close, there were plenty of close restaurants to choose from in the Buckhead area, and best of all, it was a quick drive right off of I-85. Also, considering I have a 3-year old and a 10-month old, the quick check-in/check-out was very much appreciated.

Will NOT use Double Tree Hotels again. Service is almost non-existent, and when it's there, it's incompetent. For three mornings worth of coffee, I asked for 4 cups, 4 creams, and 4 sugars. I got 4 cups, 6 lids, 8 creams and no sugar. Duplicated my reservation, twice in two nights failed to program my key card correctly, so I get back from being in class all day & I have to make two trips up and down, "hi-speed" internet is incredibly slow and connection is spotty, even with an Ethernet cable! And the facility is wholly unimpressive. Very plain, clean, but very ordinary.

Hotel was clean and staff was pleasant. The room was very small but adequate.

[...] I had the opportunity to stay at the hotel where my conference was happening, but I couldn't switch. Always keep that in mind. Pricewise, it was comparable, but switching would have saved some walking.
