Clean and spacious with friendly staff and a nice rooftop pool and bar. Very ordinary otherwise. Pillows lumpy like they've got loose ballad of kapok in them. Walls are paper thin so you'll hear everything from next door.
I booked this hotel because it was affordable and the reviews were good and I was not disappointed. When we arrived at the airport and got in a taxi the taxi driver was warning us against being out after dark. Put the fear of God into me as I was travelling with my 10 year old daughter. However I felt safe there. The area itself if poorer than central Athens hence the cost! No problem checking in, staff friendly. Breakfast staff and rooftop bar staff just went that extra mile! Excellent staff in both areas. Rooms are great, fridge and safe (for free) are a great touch. Plus little chocolates or Baklava on your pillows make it even better. Metro is 200 yards from hotel and the hop on, hop off bus over the square. Couple of bad points- busy road and the crossings are shocking!!! Drivers over there do not seem to care about pedestrians! Secondly, I was pickpocketed in the metro station as I was boarding the metro so beware and keep your wits about you! However, even though that has happened, I would still go back. Great hotel in a decent location.
Warm welcome when arriving. Free drinks while waiting to enter the room. Nice big room for 3 people. Clean and sometimes a nice surprise for guests: chocolate and wine. Exellent breakfast and modern dishes in the top floor restaurant.
The rooms are large and clean. The beds and pillows are hard and uncomfortable. The location is ok for walking to tourist attractions, but not as close as many others in same price range. The rooftop pool and restaurant are enjoyable. The breakfast buffet is ok for free. Neighborhood isn't great, but not bad for a large city.
The hotel is nice and clean. We had a big room with a balcony. The staff are kind and helpful. Good breakfast. There is parking in the hotel that was important for us. A nice place to stay while visiting Athens
Spent one evening here before heading off island hopping. Room was basic, clean and small. There was a rooftop pool with views of the city and a bar serving snacks which we weren't told about. We had an early start so breakfast wasn't quite ready although we were advised we would still benefit. Not sure it was the nicest part of town but fine for a one off.
I was here on vacation but would probably reserve this hotel for business trips. It was clean, enough space. Staff in the hotel restaurant and at the breakfast were great and we enjoyed the food from both! Downsides: It was 3 of us in a room suited for 3 and the internet was remarkably slow. Small TV. A business next door had loud music playing until 1-2 AM on 2/3 nights. The colors used in our first room didn't seem nice from a vacation perspective. Pool is very small, only 6 people can sunbathe on the chairs max but others can get in the pool. I attempted to make a long distance call which didn't go through so I ended up calling it on my cellphone, I still got a bill though for the attempt so may want to even attempt one on their phones. We walked to the changing of the guards one morning but we probably should have cabbed it or gotten on the bus sooner since the area is suspect.
We spent two separate night at this hotel. The location is not perfect but it is good and close to the bus stop. So you can take the city bus to all the sightseeing places. There are some restaurants close to the hotel but taste is just ok. The rooftop has a nice view. The room space compared to other hotel in Europe is spacious and very clean. The hotel staff is nice and allow us to have a early check in. Overview, it is a good hotel to stay.
Great hotel ,friendly staff ,clean Food was delicious service was great in the restaurant on top of the hotel. The view of the Parthenon from the to of the hotel was breathtaking. It was close to. The train an hop on hop off bus. Large breakfast buffet was very good
We stayed here while touring Athens and the hotel itself is really nice. No complaints -- great breakfast, clean room and bathrooms. But the location is not great. We did not feel very safe walking in the area after dark.
