Helpful staff and great view of Athens from the roof. The twin beds were more like roll-out cots than actual beds which was disappointing since this is a Best Western collection hotel.

The room was reasonable and clean, but the street noise was loud, and desk staff were very unfriendly. The neighbourhood was extremely sketchy and definitely did not feel safe , especially after dark. There was no ice machine and the bar staff seemed reluctant to provide it without a purchase. Very disappointed that the pool closed at 7pm as we had planned to have evening swims after long hot days in the sun. Overall, not impressed and won’t be back.

The hotel was lovely, staff friendly, rooms clean and comfortable, pool lovely (although cold in April!), food great and views from the rooftop amazing! We had 4 nights here (mum and 13 year old daughter) and had no issues. We used the main roads rather than the back streets (which maps will give you when walking as the shortest distance) and always felt safe. Very close to Omonia Square metro and a short walk to Monastiraki. We would stay here again, for the hotel quality and staff service.

3 Nights in Athens

Three nights in Athens been here many times so had a good idea of where to stay and qual of hotel. Omonia has changed a lot , we didn’t feel the area was particularly bad and Sat by fountain most nights no issues lots of places to eat.. Excellent metro links to all sites and Airport. The hotel room was good had an upgrade the bed comfortable room and bathroom good. One issue was air con not working and at 26c coming from uk winter it felt hot in the room we were able to open window at night so not too bad. Check your air con before unpacking. Otherwise for the price we had no issues usual single news channel, think one other channel for various tv series etc in English . Think most hotels should just upgrade the TVs so people can stream from phone. I would stay at Dorian again.

I dropped off my luggage early morning and returned to checkin at late afternoon. A female staff asked me to fill a form of my personal information. I told her that I had completed the form while I dropped my lugguage in the morning. She was upset until she found my form which was just sat in the reception table. I think that her attitude was not good to serve a customer like this.
