Amazing staff!!! Great Hotel with a great location. I think the decor is awesome & I'm not an artsy person, but the whole concept of how they used things from the old hotel & incorporated into the new design is really awesome! Clean rooms with a cool design. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. I was so impressed & that does not happen often.

Cute hotel, very friendly, concierge is open 24 hours. You are super close to town (2 blocks) without paying the price for being in the city center.

Great location, very accommodating staff. The breakfast included in the rate was delicious. The view of the Acropolis from the roof was a wonderful memory!

The hotel's location is very good, it is two minutes walk to the Syntagma square, and less than 10 minutes walk to Acropolis area. The hotel is designed in a sense of art, I am not an art person, so it is not appealing to me. The staff are quite nice and helpful. The breakfast is quite good and normal, but nothing special. The room is quite good, but facility is not optimistic. They only provides complimentary drinking water for first night. Then you have to buy your own bottle water from grocery store near by. There is not hot drinking water for tea, or coffee. It is basically just a place to sleep in the night, you don't want to stay there for relaxing. The lobby is very small, not much space to move. The Sofa in the room is very deep, it is not convenient for a normal size person, good for a very thick person to sit. Overall, it is not worth the price they charge.

Overall good experience. the door to my room would not lock and we informed the staff who were nice but it did not get fixed even after mentioning it multiple times. The room it self was very spacious and nice but the shower was a little musty, probably due to poor ventilation. The restaurant on the roof had good food although a little pricey.

This hotel was right in the middle of the action. My wife and I were able to walk everywhere. We liked the feel of the hotel as well. The restaurant up top gave great views of the city and the rooms were nice and updated.

I liked the location of the hotel. The staff greeted us and gave us a Greek Christmas dessert and water. We went to our room and a staff member helped us with our luggage and told us how everything works. Hotel was very modern. Room was small but clean. Internet was not that good and I read that you had to pay to get high speed internet. Breakfast was okay. Prefered pancakes and french toast which you had to pay for but omlettes and eggs were free just not shown at the buffet. Overall it was a great experience.

I had a miles discount, so I booked the New Hotel, based on reviews and location. Breakfast is included here, the best we've had in any hotel. The staff was very good, though we recieved a misdirected wake up call and one day were left with no soap or glasses. The roof top lounge has a partial view of the Parthenon ($16 martinis). This hotel was designed by art students so expect the decor to be out of the norm, also 21 light switches, some of which we never found out what they controlled. If you arrive, try to get an orientation.

Very close to athens main attractions. Can am walk everywhere easily. Very friendly staff. Room just a bit on smaller side but good use of space.

I was absolutely thrilled with this hotel! From the moment you walk in the lobby to every corner of the room, It's a visual delight. Service is superb! We asked for a couple of items and each time, within a few short minutes, they were at out door. I've never experienced such prompt service like that. The beds provided the most comfort we experienced in Greece (out of 3 other cities). The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. We didn't have a single complaint. This hotel knows what they are doing and knows how to please their customers.

This hotel was a surprise; a terrific experience for a bargain rate. Think modern art decor, impeccable service, great location, phenomenally well designed. Unbelievable for the price.

The location of the hotel was perfect, and we got an excellent deal. The staff could not have been nicer, and were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

We found the accommodations to be just as we requested which was three single beds in the room. The room was nice and large and very comfortable. The hotel is located in downtown Athens which was convenient for the tour bus and plenty of restaurants that you could go out and eat. We ate breakfast in the downstairs dining room for two mornings it was very tasty although the staff doesn't always seem like they understand when you're speaking English but they will answer with a yes. For dinner we would walk out and just try different restaurants and we were always pleasantly pleased with not only the service but also the food. If you're out walking and you see a fruit stand which is located approximately two blocks from the hotel please buy some it was some of the best fruit that I have had in a very long time. We decided against the rooftop restaurant at the hotel because it appeared to be very pricey but the restaurants that we found not far from the hotel had better prices and very nice choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you decide to stay in Athens but be advised that downtown Athens is very similar to New York City, United States crowded, dirty and too many taxis to count. Most of the people that we encountered were very nice and very friendly. As a final note just be advised that the first bottle of water from the hotel is free but after that it comes at a charge. I hope that if you decide to stay at the hotel you enjoy your stay, we certainly had a good time and would highly recommend it.

I hate to sound trite, but the New Hotel saved our trip to Athens. A warm, friendly and attentive staff greeted us and served as concierge for our trip. The quirky concept made it all the more charming. The room was wonderful and had a balcony with a great view. The small touches made the difference, from turn down service to scented air in public areas. The restaurant was superb. Great location near most attractions and the Plaka. Couldn't have been happier.

I highly recommend the New Hotel. Everything about it was amazing, but more than anything the Staff is really spectacular. Also, definitley try the restaurant during your stay.

I just couldn't resist this hotel after seeing some of the pictures of the modern furnishings and decorations. The rooms as well as the restaurant/bar downstairs are all beautifully decorated. The furnishing is ultra modern and upscale making for the most comfortable stay we had while in all of Greece. My girlfriend and I slept like babies the first night because the electric blinds were so good at blocking out all of the light and heat from the summer sun. The location is great for anyone visiting Athens and taking the metro to or from the airport—it is a short walk from the Syntagma metro station and just outside of Plaka. It's not as central to Syntagma or Plaka as some of the fancier hotels in those areas, but the exceedingly comfortable room and great value makes up for it. The service from the staff was great. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay—they even had breakfast packed for us at the lobby on our way out as we were off to catch a 7am ferry! The included breakfast is delivered to your room at the time that you request and you're able to order just about anything on their restaurant's breakfast menu. My girlfriend and I were both really happy with our stay here!

The New Hotel Athens – situated in the shadow of the Acropolis, steps away from the Plaka, and only three blocks from the Syntagma Metro stop – will doubtlessly remain my first choice for excellence in both accommodations and services, convenience of location, and easy city living. The room was modern, immaculate, and cleverly designed. The staff was helpful but never intrusive. The breakfast was superb, as were the wait staff, who were eager to please. Our only unfortunate experience was that we waited until the last day to try the hotel's dinner menu. What we discovered was Greek dishes can be so light and appealing, while delivering on flavor and quality. The place earned my five-star rating.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are happy to read that you enjoyed our hotel's location. New Hotel is very proud to be the first ever hotel project of renowned award winning designer duo, Fernando and Humberto Campana, who meticulously designed all areas of the hotel including guest rooms. All furniture is custom made to match functionality and design. We are very sorry to read that neither our hotel’s nor our furniture's design were up to your liking. As we consider breakfast a very important meal, we have put a great effort in creating a breakfast – to – remember for our guests in New Taste focusing on homemade products from daily fresh ingredients and home made bakery and viennoiserie. All our guests are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of water in their room. Water is also available in the mini bar as well as the welcome station at the lobby where you can also try our daily treats. As for the hot water, kettles are available on request for our guest. Once again thank you for sharing your kind review and look forward to welcoming you again in the near future. Kind regards, Irini Antoniou Guest Relations
